Classy!

For a theme that can and has been written as a really seedy scenario, this story provides an original and much classier take on it. I think the way that religion is handled her is very sensitive and the romance between Carl and Juliet is sweet and steamy at the same time. Though I appreciated that the ending wasn't dragged out, it did feel a little rushed between telling her aunt about the wedding and it suddenly having occurred. I really enjoyed it!

It is just so readable!

The pacing of the story has been awesome so far and it is clear what direction the story is going at all times. The writing style is very readable and carries the reader along smoothly but it would be good to see some description throughout. All of the characters are distinct from each other and each had their own unique personality and thought processes but the good characters don't have to be all good, you know? Maybe Magnolia could have an annoying habit of always assuming she's right or Beth could be a people pleaser which works to other characters' detriments. Other than those small snags, I am really enjoying it so far!
