I haven't read the Thee Musketeers for so long so this was such a lovely, refreshing glimpse into their lives.
I love how d'Artagnan was dedicated enough to memorise each step of the sword and how that was destined to change his life.
I enjoyed the description, how you could feel the sword fight being played out before you. The magic of movements being described was incredible. You have a way with words that is pure poetry.
The tension of not wanting to miss a single moment of the sword fight, not wanting to blink just in case d'Artagnan missed s second was so real. The panic that he felt when he realised Arthos was watching him practice was so real.
