Your story is truly amazing. The fact that it is written so simply but eloquently makes it stand out, showing how humans battle a crisis, sometimes making us question humanity itself. Yet, the fact that the narrator was there for the girl despite the odds against them, gives the reader hope.
I loved the story and hope to read more of your works!!
(P.S.- Have you read the Last Survivors series by Susan Beth Pfeffer? It is also a book that deals with how humans react in times of adversity. Your story reminded me a little about the books…)
