Captivating
I just joined Inkitt, and your story was highlighted right on the front page. I began reading it immediately, and though it took me a moment to realize that not all the characters are as humanoid as we are, I found that the surprise was pleasant, not jarring. A completely different world from the one in which we live, no paper, no pencils, but plenty of dragons and intrigue. I'll be sure to read more!
UPDATE - I read this all in one sitting. I can't wait for the rest! What a cliffhanger that was, I was ready to read the next part but found that I was already at the epilogue of part one...
Poignant
The story read so much like a poem in motion. I glided from one sentence to the next, and I just couldn't stop. It felt like the ripples at the surface of a pond and something that should be read more than once to be understood, what a beautiful read!
