Wow! Mythical creatures in the real world, what a fun story idea!
This is such a fun and interesting story, with plenty of action, and lots of details to ground it into reality.
My only suggestion would be making the story a little easier to read. You had a lot of details, long sentences, and long paragraphs. Your details, while great for world building, were sometimes a little overwhelming. By breaking up your sentences, adding in a bit more dialogue, and choosing key details to include, you could really help your stories readability.
Again, great story idea! I really enjoyed reading about modern mythical creatures, and think more of these stories together could make a really great collection!
