Hey everyone! NaNoWriMo month is finally here, and we have dedicated this group to everyone who is ready to accomplish their goals!

I wanted to take the opportunity to encourage anyone to share sources of motivation, helpful tips that you know or find, or simply start a group discussion so that we can all work together on this journey.

deserthorror I have a question Drew. I have been sharing my Inkitt story on Twitter and my newsletter. However, I keep getting responses from people they can't LIKE or comment on my story. Is the only way to like and comment on a story if you sign up for Inkitt?

Hello everyone.

First, congratulations to everyone who took part in NaNoWriMo! It doesn't matter if you tried it for one, five, or twenty-five days. Just the mere beginning of something is enough sometimes. NaNoWriMo is more about getting you in the mindset to "Work!" than reaching the word count or finishing a project. It is about that most definitely, but the discipline you have to cultivate to make it even two days in is much more valuable than something else, at least in my opinion. The

time you've found to work on your project during November is the time you can use from no on to continue throughout the year and the next and the next until the job is done. I've had to write before work, after work, during work, and every other time I had an opening, so the process of sitting down and doing writing at a set point is invaluable now.

To everyone that caught the virus and still had to work, balance family life, and managed to write the daily amount, I can just say stellar job! I was sick for about ten days, and it was hell. Very good job to everyone, regardless. We made it here, to the end, now all that's left is to write. So, keep that grind going, and have a healthy and pleasant holiday season!

Your 'trending' novels, in this competition, is stuck in a loop.

Also, as each writer completes the story within the deadline, their novel should have gone to the top of the 'trending' list. How else will we know what anything means?

Wild Spice @rosalind771 I have a problem with my head. When I was 6 or 7, I fell and hit my head. I passed out and had a nosebleed. Since then, I've always felt dizzy and vomited when I read, write, or think too much. I kept trying to hit the target but I failed.

Yiona Awww, but it's okay. It doesn't stop you from trying. I think you should continue to do what you love. And besides, if you didn't try, you would've failed anyways. I believe in you, keep on being awesome :) (And I hope that injury has gotten better now)
