Amazingly good. I enjoyed it thoroughly. The technical skills here and there were a little dodgy, but the plot was brilliant, and I loved the way some of the tale was left to the readers own imagination. Very cleverly written.

It held me. What I do know of WWII seemed to be correct and the reaction of the people was quite authentic. It was a difficult and unpleasant time and that was well communicated. I liked the sudden ending, seemed to tie in with the tale.
