I heard somewhere that love can conquer all. I think that's bullshit. If love could conquer all, would there still be war and crime? If love could conquer all, would there still be families torn and people hurt? If love could conquer all would lovers still be torn apart by religion, cast and class and gender? If love could conquer all, would kids still be bullied? Would mothers still be dead saving their kids from their fathers? Or would there be fathers beat down and harried talking care of a child their mother refused to care for? Would the children still have to suffer the horrid parents? Author's Note

Hello!

Welcome to my tragic land. I realized I write more sad stories than I write happy ones but somehow, I always end up with good endings.

Anyway, word of caution - this is short story - maybe, with 10-12 chapters only - with shorter chapters and it won’t be full of details.

Also, there is no sex scene, maybe a couple curse words - to be honest, there are more than a couple of those, I curse a lot - , and it is written purely because I was bored and writing prompts.

Please, imagine the time period to be 1990s - 2000s.
