The story hits the ground running, arousing interest right from the start.
It has character, the plot is dynamic, there is tension, and there's a mystery.
The flow is clear, and there is a real sense that dad cares for his "butterfly."
I think there's a technical issue where episode 3 is included in episode 2 and then repeats itself. It confused me at first

On a personal note, I do like stories with some element of magic included. Many of my heroines wield it.

A Rich Setting

I enjoyed the gradual introduction of the world and its various nations, and the same goes for the characters. As the plot progresses, their inner workings and motivations become more evident to the reader, so patience is rewarded.
High-quality editing is evident in sentence structure, grammar, etc.
I especially liked Elise and how she manages to navigate different threats despite her fears. For honesty's sake, I'm currently at episode 7 and going to continue reading.
