Val is one of the best Authors that I know. I would read anything she writes. Its a shame it only lets you give 5 stars per category or I would give her 10 out of 10! The flow of the story captivates, I have read the book in its entirety and never wanted to put it down.

My first impression, great setting for a crime story. Louisiana is full of hit-men, fast girls, and plenty of places to dump a body.
