This can be read as a stand-alone. Though I would not recommend it as one of the main characters is from the prequel, Endangered. He doesn't make a lot of appearances in the book, but a major piece of understanding who he is, is written in that book and not to mention it will give some background information about the other characters. That, and this book will contain some spoilers about the prequel.

FYI, this is the first draft and the ending might feel a little bit rushed as I found out that due to poorly plotting there are some huge mistakes. However, I still tried to make the ending as satisfying as possible.
Another note; you might get updates about this book, but it will be chapters I keep submitting on repeat. I do this to gain some new readers as the system on Inkitt sucks. If I don't do this, I won't get any new readers, which is something I of course don't want haha.
