Love the story but...

I love the plot but the way the story is written is not very cohesive. I had trouble understanding what was happening because of the transitioning of the scenes and dialogue, they felt very robotic. I was like “wait, what”, “how did we get here?”, it jumped from one idea to the other and sometimes it was hard to understand. I couldn’t visualize or imagine the place because of the lack of description.
I’m not sure if I’m being clear. Keep in mind English is not my first language and I’m still learning how to write.

Tips: more description to better development of character thoughts, appearances, setting, and dialogue.

In my case, creating an outline helps me organize and build the story narrative. I even use the basic story narrative graph.

PS: This is my honest opinion, from one learning author to another, in the kindest possible way lol
