Hey, guys! I'm Anthony. I used to be an officer in the U.S. Navy. Now I do acting, modeling, and competitive sword fighting with the European Longsword and medieval weaponry. I have a new book I'm promoting titled Cold Solar. I just entered it into the Novelist competition. It's only for those that like a medium level of near future sci-fi, guns, swords, and apocalyptic chaos with a slight tinge of romance. Please get a free copy and I'll support whatever writing endeavors you have as well. I ... See More look forward to writing and reading with you guys!
Hi I'm Sue. I wrote a synopsis to a story on two sheets of A4 paper over 20 years ago and it's taken this long for me to start developing it. Where does time go to, I wonder but I can tell you this; writing this story has been a joy and the journey has definitely changed me forever, in a positive way I hope.. Better late than never!
Hi. My pen names Arcin Enroth. I'm really shy and nervous especially around new people but tend to really open up when I get to know you. When I was younger I was the last person you would expect to even like reading let alone writing a book. Now I can read 500-page books in 5 days (when I actually have time to) and have written an 80015 word (give or take) book. I'm still in high school but currently doing an extra year. I plan on going to University for science with my current end goal of ... See More becoming a dentist. My favourite genre to read is fantasy but really anything fiction I'll read. I'm the kind of person to get lost in thought, will think about the weird and really deep questions, and when bored will do almost anything (even something out of character [like singing in public]) to pass the time. I have trouble with really anything English but more so with spelling but I'm working onto I sware! Er... anyways... I look forward to talking and getting along with everyone. ~ Thank you =3
Good day everyone. Looking forward to getting along with you all!
I love to read novel as much as I love to write them. However, studying economics has cause me to constantly question why the societies in some novels can even function =)))
Here's my twitter, the only place you can see me as a somewhat sane human being: https://twitter.com/bakamoshi
Throw me some novels if you can! Preferably fantasy!
Hi guys, newcomer here.
My name is Jessica, but to most who know me across the web I am known as "Falina" or "Falina Karlane", though the more common name I am known by, by a number of close internet friends is 'Fally'. The reason behind the name is a long one and started off back when I was writing a supposed short assignment in English when I was 13. We were asked to write a short story with a sentence given to either be used at the start or the end. The sentence was: "It could ... See More never be forgotten how life changed that day" which, unknowingly played the part rather well in my life because essentially, my life as a whole did change that day.
Anyway, the main character in the story was Falina - at the time she didn't have a surname, daughter of a dark King, Azreal, and his quite lovely Queen, Star. Star, compared to Azreal was pure and perfect and the very vision of everything one would expect of a Goddess, but unlike her husband, Star was actually just a mortal woman who saw the good in her husband that no other could.
By now you can probably already guess that, like a few of you here, Fantasy plays a very strong role in both my life (I'm a big kid at heart, 30 in May but it's just a number. I am as young as I wish to be, still very much a child in my own little world), and my writing. I hope to one day share my work with you all, and hope to have some good, strong criticism that will help to push me in the right direction.
I have author friends thanks to Facebook, but I do so love expanding on my social circle and came upon this placw purely by chance after finding Vampire King Lazarus on Facebook sharing a link to a story written by one Nick Paschall, who wrote Hunter's of the Dead: Witches War. I was unfortunate to miss out on his free copy but I'm currently enjoying a free read of a story about "Red", and one rather delightful Alex Plain. A story based on werewolves/wolves, which is something I do take great interest in.
Anyway enough chitter chatter for now. Feel free to drop me a line here. I look forward to meeting you all.
Hi everyone! Hope you are all doing great. My name is Tina Brewster. I write under the pen names, Williams Brewster and M. E. Tudor. Williams Brewster is a combination of mine and partner's names. M. E. Tudor was my paternal grandmother, who was also a story teller so I'm honoring her, although I'm not sure how she'd feel about me writing lesbian fiction under that name. I work as a public librarian and my partner and I are raising 3 of our 9 nine grandchildren. We love animals, hiking, camping ... See More and traveling. I'm looking forward to meeting other writers and making new friends.
Hi! My name is Becky. I've worked on two novels this year, one straight up Chick Lit and the second more of a Romantic Drama, which I'm hoping to finish during NaNoWriMo. I've been writing since I was nine years old, and have a BFA in Creative Writing. I discovered Inkitt when they emailed me about reviewing a book on my blog (which I'm currently reading). Loving the set up here. Looking forward to learning more!
Hello, my name is Erin Spock and I currently have my paranormal romantic thriller, Possessing Karma, available on Inkitt.
I finished my first manuscript ten years ago. My degree is in history and I was active in historical costuming so my story line just grew from that base into something concrete. I have three complete Elizabethan era historical romances that I'm pitching through Romance Writers of America. My paranormal straddles genres. I'm currently working on another paranormal ... See More romantic thriller set in Ireland. Though I'm using a contemporary setting, like in Karma, my Irish story has its roots in history.
I'm a middle school teacher, mom, wife, and seamstress in addition to being a writer. My brain is constantly busy with new stories and there's not enough time in a day to bring them all to life (partially because my fatal flaw is procrastination).
I really love to see that people are reading my book. It means a lot and I welcome all feedback.
I have an author Facebook page as Erin Kane Spock and a blog at courtlyromance.blogspot.com.
Yes, Spock is my real last name. I married into the Spock family. The name is Polish in origin, not Vulcan, but I do consider myself a Trekkie (Next Generation is my favorite and I could never quite commit to Enterprise).
Hi, during the last two years I wrote two manuscripts - one novella and one novel. I wrote the latter during the first six months of this year. It is a fantasy story that I have always have brewing in my mind. I am currently working on its sequel. I am an accountant so writing is very far from my profession but it is a hobby, it lets me explore my feelings and to be creative through words. I did try sending my manuscript to literary agents and the negative feedback made me doubt the quality of
my work. Inkitt though provided me with a platform to share my work with my friends who all praised my writing and their encouragement was enough to continue to write the sequel to Vatya.
I did have my reservations at first. I did delete my manuscript after three months but I have since re uploaded it under a new name.
Please feel free to check out my work. My fantasy, Vatya, is quite different from the usual, it is based on Hindu Mythology which is rich with all kinds of beings.
Hi, my name's Barry and I'm currently working on a futuristic crime novel at the moment.. Feel free to have a read if you like. I like to read most fiction (except vampire stuff - unless its funny) and poetry as well.
Hello stranger! I’d love to get to know you, so tell me your story.
