Hello. I am originally English (grammar school, University for six years), but have lived in Eastern Canada for the last fifty years. Yes, I am an old fart. I've self-published about 30+ books. I write for the sheer pleasure that writing gives me in constructing a story. I also write a lot of non-fiction science stuff, as well as Childrens' Stories. I published other of my family's biographies written mostly by my sister and brother-in-law, but with my editing and putting photographs in. ... See More Everything is on Amazon. I decided I'd better try and get published, considering my age, so I started to self-publish in about 2009, long after I retired, and had the time. I have about 50 stories started and partly finished, others finished, but not satisfactorily so, and hundreds of ideas. I think of ten new stories every time I finish one.. I am still at the learning stage and always will be. I am always working on about five novels at the same time and flit from one to another as the mood takes me. My next one is about three nurses captured by the Japanese in WWII and their story as they come to grips with their memories and experiences. I have a blog for my first six books, and a blog on that same site, where I throw a comment or a story idea up about once a week (johnksutherland.com), including fantasies about finding Jane Austen in the passenger seat of my car. I find I get the greatest pleasure out of constructing a damn good erotic romance with a good story behind it. Half of my novels are erotic and fifteen of my novels are on this site. Thank you Inkitt.
My name is Shyamala and I just moved to Canada to start grad school. I'm doing my Master's in English, and as is obvious, I love reading and writing. I've worked as a ghost and content writer for years and fanfiction has been the love of my life, though I'm working on a novel. So great to meet everyone here!
Hello everyone, my name is Mercedes Arvay and I am from Canada. I have always loved reading and then I have been writing for a few months now but I'm still pretty new to it all. I love all animals, I have 3 cats and 3 dogs so it gets crazy here sometimes, I am working and taking some English class online so I can improve my writing. But I found this site and its perfect for me to do my writing and get some honest opinions. I am just working on my novel right now and I'm on chapter 3 but the ... See More first two have been put out. So enjoy.
Hello everyone. My name is Neil Dartneli from South Africa! I'm a novice writer looking to get some ideas out into the world and hope that people enjoy reading what I have to say. Inkitt seems like an interesting venture with lots to offer and a friendly community that I would love to be a part of. I will be steadily adding stories and writing thoughts on my profile and am open and eager to exchange for reviews. Happy writing folks! :D
My name is Dhesan Pillay, I'm a 27-year-old medical doctor from South Africa who enjoys reading and writing in my spare time. I self-published my first sci-fi/fantasy novel 3 years ago and have recently started working on the sequel. I am also looking to venture into some short story writing that I would love to share with you all. At present, I only have two short stories on Inkitt but am looking to expand my repertoire, time and career willing of course.
Feel ... See More free to stop over and give whatever is on my page a read, and if you'd like I'd be happy to exchange reviews with either short stories or novels.
Take care and happy writing :)
My name is RaeLynn, and I am 23. I work as a voice actor and a novelist. I live with my dog Kola, and I am getting married in May. During my freetime, I LOVE TO READ. I like horror, adventure, and mystery, but I also love the classics. (I've read Pride and Prejudice MAYBE 45 times).
I am working on my first novella, and it's exciting. I hope we can be friends~!
Hello! I'm Schane and I'm an English major with a focus on Writing. I'm new to this site but figured it would be a great platform for my independent study course on novel writing. I've written before, but never completed a full novel just yet. I'm bursting with some new ideas to subvert tropes and stereotypes, so it'll be fun to discuss or receive feedback!
If you want to chat about sci-fi, fantasy or romance feel free to leave me a message!
Hello everyone! I'm Kirsty and I'm an English rose. I am currently approximately 24,000 words into my first manuscript that I aim to publish this year (although I have previously written novels posted online for free) so any motivation would be greatly appreciated- even in the form of cat videos.
If you want to chat (or send me motivational cat videos) please find me on facebook @kirstyallenwriter
I look forward to finishing my romantic fantasy manuscript this year and ... See More hope to enter a few contests on this site.
Hello everyone. I'm Sara. Pretty new to the site. Just published my novel Drift on here. It's loosely based on my hitchhiking adventures in the 90s. I finished it about 4 years ago and actually signed a publishing contract for it a year after with a small publishing company in Detroit. Unfortunately the company went out of business shortly after (to my utter horror and disbelief). But I have never given up hope and look forward to entering some contests.
Hi everyone! I'm Rene, AKA Zunica. I was a teacher for 19 years before I decided to leave the US and move to Ireland with my husband on a whim, leaving my two daughters and four grandchildren behind. (Thank heavens for technology so I can still talk to them!)
After so many years of teaching children about the writing process, I finally decided I would give it a try myself! With only research papers under my belt for my own writing, I have to admit fiction has been much more fun. I just ... See More finished my first novel, a murder mystery that I hope to turn into a series, if I can get myself to come up with the next story. :)
I have always loved to read, moving through different genres. Right now I'm loving fantasy, with series such as Dragonlance and Wheel of Time as a couple of my favorites. But I also love crime drama TV shows such as Criminal Minds, NCIS and CSI (despite the inaccuracies to real life!), which is what drew me to write a murder mystery.
I hope to read lots of great works here, give feedback (hey, I have the background LOL) and also get feedback on what I have written. I also look forward to making new friends!.
Hello stranger! I’d love to get to know you, so tell me your story.
