Hi, I'm Matt, I've just posted the first 6 chapters of my first novel, The Lightning Seeds (https://www.inkitt.com/stories/fantasy/93268?preview=true&ref=a_9cdd5f98-0634-4c7f-bd1e-bceaecfe8839). I'm keen for any feedback anyone might have.
It's a modern fantasy tale; here's the blurb:
"Evangeline isn't happy about returning to a 'home' she's never lived in after the death of her mum but dad insists that it's the right thing to do. They are going to live with Nana; the ... See More grandmother she's been writing too since she was a kid but has never met. And dad says she going to have to go to school! All she wants is her mother and her old life travelling the world with her archaeologist parents back.
But what she is coming home too will surprise her. She's about to find out that there was far more to her mom, and her dad, and the world, than she ever realised."
Hey! I just finished a short novel called Get Out Alive and I don't wanna spoil too much but it's basically about a girl and her four friends trying to survive a school shooting. Malcolm here from Scotland. I love to write and to read! So, I've gone ahead and posted my story - Travel to Sockland up here. It's fantasy (As I'm sure the name suggests). It probably fits as a Children's novel, but I like it too, so I'm sure anyone might like it. It's short, fun and wacky. I like wacky!
Feel free to enjoy it. And say hello to me!
Hi there everyone! If you could, please review this new story that I've uploaded. I'm at a crossroad where I don't know if I want to continue it or not. Perhaps you could leave me a few suggestions if you think I should or maybe give some tips to help me bring it to a decent close. Thank you and enjoy!
Thanks for all the reading and reviewing you do! I've just finished a full manuscript for my second novel, The Oracle, but right now I've only posted the first three chapters on Inkitt to see how strong the beginning is. It's set in a world similar to ancient Rome (but is not historical fiction)! A young girl goes to a ceremony to watch the initiation of a new Delphic Oracle of Apollo, but to her horror, she is chosen by the god Apollo instead. The story focuses on ... See More how this impacts her and her friends and loved ones. Although it's fantasy, it's written in a lighthearted voice.
If anyone has time to read, I'd love to know whether it captures your attention and makes you want to continue.

Hey! I was wondering if I could get some honest reviews on my two novels The Child From Hell and An Accidental Evil. The Child From Hell is about the son of Satan escaping hell with the help of his mother and living in fear of his father bringing him back to the underworld. While he finds a new place to settle he falls in love with a devout Christian girl and tries to keep his true identity concealed from her while evading his father's demons. An Accidental Evil is about Skylar Maddick, a
recovering heroin addict and alcoholic who is the lead singer in a rock band. While touring the world he meets a girl in Tokyo who he immediately feels a connection with, but the voices in his head are holding him back from ever believing a girl like her, or anyone, could love him. Sorry I forgot the link for my story
Hi everyone, I have just uploaded my story 215 Lexington Avenue which is a supernatural horror story. I would love to have some reviews as it's my first solo book. I've written one with my friend and fellow author prior to this one.
Here's the teaser
215 Lexington Avenue looks like any of the other double fronted Victorian houses in the street, nicely painted with a trim large front and back garden. The family that live in it are happy, but not for long. This house holds a dark ... See More past, a very dark past from the time it was built in 1596 right up to modern times; something is scaring every family that has lived in the house. Now that horrific past is causing terror to Bill and Tina Rodgers and their twelve year old daughter Wendy.
Can a house really be possessed, and can a doll have a life of its own?
215 Lexington Avenue has all this and more and what lays in the basement is anyone’s guess.
It is down to a team of paranormal experts led by the demonologist Joseph Daniels, two police men, Sergeant Tom Smith and PC Alan Davies, and with the help of Father Gabriel and Father Driscoll they try to solve the case, to solve the haunting terror of, 215 Lexington Avenue.
With only 17 more reserve copies left, I would love to have a couple more people check out my book Find the Lady. I'm certainly more than happy to swap reviews as well, if you'd like me to check out your work. Here's the teaser:
A bad week that just got worse. Crime, demons, and more deceit. Find the Lady is the thriller that will have you crawling back for more.
