what is a good number of reads (for the novel contest) to win?
Hey so of anyone who ever got below ten copies available and had the option given to "Get Copies Back" did you take it? I'm hesitating because I know that analytics bar needs to be more full but I've worked so hard to get under 10 copies left.
Anyone here willing to swap? My story "To Dream" is in some need of some more reviewers and feedback. READ BELOW IF INTERESTED:
"To Dream" is a YA dystopian-fantasy where dreams, creativity, and ambitions are banned by the government. My main character Calista has to discover what makes her who she is, and (since it's dystopian) attempt to take down the dictatorship with the help of her friends. There are oracles with prophecies, different arts like music and painting, action, ... See More mystery, and a question we all must ask ourselves. "Would we dare to follow our dreams despite adversity?" I try to tackle a whole lot of themes in this book, the subject of dreams and ambition being one of them, passivity and love vs violence, trust, family, and self discovery. The book is rated 13+ for the violence and some mild language, is meant for a TEEN-YA AUDIENCE, and has 38 chapters. I'm a teenage writer (17) so I know a lot of YA cliches and things that get on teenagers' nerves while reading these books. (Typical female protagonist, insta-love, love triangles, very cliche "stereotype" characters, etc.) I'd love to know your feedback on the plot and characters of the story.
It's a part of a series, so I want to know fan-favorites so that way I know whether to include them in future books.
Please let me know if you are going to read it below and post a link to one of your stories. I'd love to help out other authors.
Greetings from South Africa! I am working on a trilogy called the Earth Series. First time publisher, as I procrastinated for a good while lol.
Check it out and tell me what you think. Don't hold back lol.
The story of two orphaned sisters and their dangerous co-dependency.
Hi everyone! To those who have claimed a copy of my novel "To Dream", I can't wait for your reviews and feedback. I really appreciate what I've received thus far, and I can't wait to hear what other think of my story as well. "To Dream" is a YA dystopian-fantasy rated +13. It's about a shy girl who lives in a society where dreaming, creativity, and differences are banned by the government. To those who don't know, the story is based on my life, where people keep pushing me down different paths ... See More (mainly in mechanics when I'm not good with math?) and shame my love of writing. This story takes the concept to the extreme and targets young adults and teens. I'd love it if you all reviewed it and let me know what you think. I'm 17, and I've been working on this story since I was 15. I'm wanting to get it published one day (dream big, right?), but I'd really like some feedback on it from all of you. :) I'd be willing to swap.
Hello everyone. I want to share the first book in a series that I am working on. Its a YA urban fantasy book that will have you hooked from start to finish. Its not your typical damsel in distress story and the ending will leave you wanting more. I already have a few reviews and really think that it will appeal to most readers. Please read, enjoy, and review.
Also if any of you are interested in sports... mainly basketball, please be my guest
