Im a little off track. I want to know what would cause a perfectly breathless cliffhanger. Like, what twist shall i apply?

I want know how to build up my story. I have ideas I just need more thoughts and advice. I want to know if I'm doing it right or how I can make it better

Hey, why is there not even a single soul readin' my novel? Is it that bad that just by lookin' at the title ya feel disgusted or somethin'?

All this advice on suspense is also really useful for romance and erotic fiction, not just scary narratives. I’m using it to build up a kiss between my protagonists and it’s proving invaluable!

Good advice although everything is geared towards action novels - sometimes the beauty of fiction lies in its stillness.
