What would you do if you couldn't read or write fiction without being punished? What if forms creativity and aspirations were banned where you lived from music to literature and art? Would you do something about it?

Hello everyone, it is good to meet new fantasy fans, here is a slice of life of my own fantasy work i have been working on this novel for a 4 years, it's a series.
Time has passed since the bloodshed of the Seven Kings, and thus the continent was split into seven pieces among three major races: Humans, Demons and Kemono…Two centuries ago, a Great War plagued the land into chaos and ruin, staining the world of Cypos in scarlet, giving birth to the Seven Cradles of Beast, Demon and ... See More Human. Tales of the War of Kings still fester the hostile relationships between the three to this day, as the young learn the tides of their history and the truth of their reality. Now the times of abhorrence has fallen to Harmony City and the Forest of Ashfire, home of the young Okami Varaceon, a warrior apprentice of Wolf Kemono Clan of Blue Lightning. Feeling the sting of betrayal, the Okami battled valiantly for his loved ones but was easily defeated by a mysterious warrior who claims the cause for the fall of his home had risen from the Cradle of Humanity’s desire for true equality. Waking from his defeat to a ruined forest and a vacant Clan…the Kemono believed the Gods had turned against him. Varaceon’s warrior heart reignited when his companion Flora, a surviving Chanter of his Clan, reveals her Insight of humans draping the land in fire and lightning. Hello everyone! Here's a excerpt of my novel "To Dream":
′Once upon a time’; a phrase too commonly said.
This story begins with a not so common opening: ‘How can you dream?’ Yes, I asked. 'How do you dream? What is it like?' Until recently, I had not dreamt during my life. It had been short; I was sixteen after all. I read about all of these dreams that had come true, but dreams never did anymore. I heard how someone could work their way to their goals, but that only seemed ... See More like a fantasy found in storybooks. It all started after dreaming was banned by the government. With dreams gone, all creativity and new ideas were sucked down the drain. Without them, people resorted to a dull lifestyle filled with geriatric technology. Society, technology, and culture were not advancing within our country, and our lives seemed pointless. Day in and day out, we’d do the exact same routine, and wear the exact same clothing. Nothing was ever different; different wasn’t even allowed.
Hello everyone! I recently developed a reading list of all of the stories that I've really enjoyed here on Inkitt. Sadly, some of these great stories have received ten reviews or fewer. There are fantasy stories, some dystopian stories, sci-fi's, thrillers, horrors, romances, and even some children's novels. They vary in length, but if you wanted to give these authors your support and read some great stories, please check out the link! ... ... Hello all! Just put my new fantasy novel TEDDY based on my screenplay of the same title that I wrote 3 years ago in the novel contest. If you like ghost stories with a wild political twist, please consider reading it and leaving a review. TEASER:Tired of the way things are in Washington, young freshman senator from West Virginia, Frank Barnes gets the nomination for a progressive third party, Progressives United. He is up against the corrupt Ronald Tate, the Republican incumbent and Senator ... See More George Moreno for the Democrats who is not much better. The only problem is, though Frank has a great platform favoring the average struggling American and roll back the damage to the country Tate’s plutocratic regime has caused, his campaign lacks that necessary spark and he is running a dismal third in the polls. That is, until Mike Rooney his videographer for all his campaign ads, gives him a special book bought at an antique store for his birthday – an old pigskin bound copy of "Alice in Wonderland" with the signature of Theodore Roosevelt in it. To Frank and Mike’s shock, it turns out to be haunted by Teddy Roosevelt himself who is bound and determined to see to it Frank wins the presidency to get the country back on track as long as he keeps the book with him. After his temporarily in shock campaign manager, Angela May, is brought in on the secret, they all embark on the craziest campaign ever. Let the political chaos begin … Thanks!
okay I SWEAR this is mostly SF and all but it's ALSO loosely Fantasy, too! I just call my magic "psionics" in this particular story.
But honestly, SF and Fantasy are on the same coin. A double-headed, fat, ugly coin that fights over who's better than the other when they're forever stuck with a bunch of copper and a pinch of nickel in between them. Maybe that broke down at the end. Here, just take a look if you're bored. I would have put the tag for "Fantasy" if it let me have more ... See More than two. The meta-tag includes it, I swear:
"Alex & Her" is about a guy with a girl in his mind who caused said guy and owner of the body to use psionics to live a while as a girl. Adventure ensues. Big fight, much action, so wow. But really, take a look if you like seeing fights, funny dialogue, or SF trying to pose as Fantasy:
Thank you m(_ _)m
If you enjoy Adventure/Fantasy, are looking for a strong female lead, and a rich and diverse world; then please, check out my novel "Tales From Eylenda: Book One"
A small taste of what you have to look forward to:
“Why are you following me, Eerik?” I asked, staring at the caked mud on my boots instead of him. “I… I just want some answers.” He asked ... See More softly, coming up to me. My eyes flicked up, and I saw the truth in myself. He trusted me, and I him. Yet I still could not tell him the truth of myself, no matter how much the truth itched to come out. “I don’t think I have any for you.” I confessed. “Then just help me, help our people. We need…” He sighed, running his fingers through his soaked mane. “I need your help, your insight. Your instincts are simply unparalleled to any one I have ever met.” “I don’t understand what you are saying-” “Asarath,” He said fervently, taking my head in his hands. “You saved us. Do you, do you see that?” “I…” I breathed, not sure what to say. “You must not, I can see it. However little you believe in yourself, you need to know that because of you, we are alive.” One of his hands left my cheek, only to wipe a strand of my long hair away from my face and back behind my ear. My head and eyes followed his movements, my mouth nearly touching his wrist as it went past. My eyes then quickly flicked back to gaze at his face, and I watched and witnessed a rare smile he rarely bares for anyone to see. “Asarath, I…” He whispered, his face so close to mine. The cold was bitter, yet I shivered not from it’s bite, but from his proximity. His hand deafly traced back from behind my ear to cup my cheek once more. We both stood there, soaked, our skin and flesh visible through our white cotton clothes. Goosebumps rose across our bodies, our hair sticking to our skin tightly. He inched closer to me, this moment suspended in time, in a darkness and heavy rain as we were encapsulated by trees that hid us from the outside world. My hands reached up to greet his. Amazingly, his hands were still hot against this cool weather. My fingers touched his skin, and I felt fear.
