Interesting world forming

Very dialogue strong, allowing the characters to form individual personalities. I was a little too aware of clothing decriptions, but other than that, smooth writing and the contrast between the dockworker and the businessmen added a distinctive class division in the society. It felt very natural that there are wood elves in the forest, My suspicion is that this is directed at a YA audience, but I'll have to keep an eye on the series and see how it develops.
