Such a unique concept
The Good:
The plot of the story is really interesting, to say I've never heard anything like it would be an understatement.
The entire premise and world itself is so interesting, and different from any other fantasy book I've read.
The main character's struggle with self image is probably relatable for a lot of people, and I really enjoyed that the author was nice enough to put trigger warnings in some of the darker chapters.
What could be improved:
The story could really use a proof-reader, as some of the grammar and sentence structure was a bit difficult to follow, but not unreadable.
Overall I think the story is good and you should give it a chance if for no other reason than for the unique plot line. I found myself really wondering how the Top Chef got his powers and what makes the food 'magical' while I was reading. Very interesting.
