It’s Good in theory.
This book was okay. I’m not going to lie and say it was amazing. But it has the potential to be amazing. There are a lot of problems I have with this book. For one a lot of events are random and don’t really fit with the book. Like when they were going to leave for Scotland and suddenly two characters that are “so important” in the narrators life show up and randomly introduced. There were multiple random things. The second thing is the character was fifteen, almost sixteen. Then you start saying she’s 19 and then even 20. Another thing is that you don’t even call Deric her mate until the end so we readers have to guess who she is. Not to mention that she still makes out and kisses other guys while in a “relationship” with her apparent soulmate. It’s okay for the guy to like her and try to get her, it’s not okay to let him on top of her and make out with him while she likes Deric. I put it off because she was 15, but then you started changing the ages. I do love the characters and I like the book. But if I would know that this was it, I wouldn’t have wasted my time. I get it’s not finished. But there are no transitions. You meet characters that were are so “important” but never mentioned them before. I would just say fix the mistakes and take a little more time writing the plot. Else it makes the book unattractive. I almost stopped because I felt dizzy with so much.
