A good read

I think overall its a good read, its very casual and holds many life lessons that I feel both men and woman should learn. I feel for Audrey & I wish her co-dependency issues as well as fear of abandonment was explored on (due to her being in the system) but as well as her drive to handle all of her issues by herself. She never reached out to family for help which could easily be explained by this. Overall she is a easily relatable character.

Also, everyone trashing the POV/Grammar issues. Give the author a break. It’s obviously not the finished product and I’d almost laugh at the ridiculousness of an author publishing the final copy of their book anywhere for free. I’m finding people on Inkett to be incredibly snobby.

Overall I think this is a lovely book. I understand the need to not change all of the grammatical issues and post the fixed chapters since it is being sold. I feel awfully bad about all of the plagiarism that took place, as well. I’m not sure if the published book had fixed any of these issues, but I believe the most frustrating thing about this book was the lack of character development & the story arc. The same scenario happened over and over again and none of the characters grew from it. I’d say the characters lacked the final touches of their personality. Otherwise, the writing is fantastic and I really did like Eros & Emira.

I would recommend this book to anyone looking for a rare, hand-maids tale-esque book. I like the characters so far and feel extremely bad for them. This book is becoming easily more and more relatable to with the emotions laid out. I think the POV’s of the medics vs the breeders are a really nice touch. Can’t wait to read more!
