I liked it!

I chose this story because of two reasons; 1) the plot looked interesting, 2) because it was based in South Africa.
And boy, this short story takes you right back to the South African cultures and languages and warmth! I love how the story progresses and really enjoyed how the author laid out and structured it. I loved the main character and her family, friends. The plot was enjoyable, interesting and engaging.
Some technical clean up would be a good idea, but it doesn't hinder the overall story, which I liked very much.

I love this author...

... and this book is no exception.
Though it's still a work in progress (we're only at chapter six), I know what to expect; good writing, great characters, a well thought out plot and unexpected surprises.
Lynn and Jamie's story has hooked me- I look forward to each new chapter and gush over how it develops. They are relatable, human characters. The story has hints of humour and hardship, friendships and fun. I can't wait to see how it ends!
I completely recommend Tender.

Love the idea!

I love the idea of the book- it's interesting and the prologue hooks you immediately. Some technical things to figure out, but overall, I think I'd like to know how it progresses and continues on.
It definitely occupied my mind with questions, so it's engaging and interesting!
