The Anarchist: Book three. The Godsfall Chronicles

Books one to three have been epic. This tale grows in strength as though it has a life of its own. The plot moves along at a astounding rate and the characterisation is superb. Books that can effectively transport the reader into another world are few. This is an exceptional piece of writing that does just that. As I said in my earlier review of books one and two, this work should be published. Imagine this as a movie, It would rival HP & LOTR with no problem. It would also be a great video game.

Elysian: Book two The Godsfall Chronicles

What an amazing story and an equally amazing writer. Not since my first reading of Tolkien’s Lord of the Rings have I been so absorbed in a story. The tale the author writes is so expertly performed one could be forgiven for believing it comes from a seasoned writer with many accolades to their credit.
Saga’s are incredibly hard things to write and can become all consuming, yet with authors and readers alike there is always a sadness at their conclusion.
I remember my own children’s sense of loss with the final Harry Potter volume; such is the nature of a great writer with the ability to invade one’s mind and transport them to new worlds, and this tale does just that.
I eagerly await the next instalment.

Wastelands: Book 1. The Godsfall Chronicles.

The author has produced a saga that could easily rival Tolkien’s lord of the rings. The characters are at times endearing, but mainly brutal; life in this world could never be a bed of roses. There are mistakes, which are to be expected in a novel of this length, but nothing that detracts from the tale he has woven. I would love to read a fully edited and published version which I hope the author should and will achieve.

Interesting development in the high street

Having been reading novels for what seems like a hundred years or more, I have to admit this is the strangest book I have ever read. Frank, the protagonist, is a psychiatrists dream patient. He has every mental disorder known to man. The story shocked, disgusted, yet enthralled with the level of degradation that the human species can sink to. The Directors Cut was a novel idea with the writer conversing with the characters, can’t remember ever seeing that before. Would I recommend it? Maybe not, especially to the squeamish.
P.s. If there are any of those X O cushions left I wouldn’t mind a few for my art studio.

Zombie-dem

I really enjoyed the book. Noticed quite a few errors in spelling and grammar had crept in during the final few chapters. Also, in chapter 21, did Logan die? Is there another book planned?
A worthwhile read.

The dark place in your mind

I enjoyed the stories but there are many errors that spoil an otherwise good read. I feel the writer needs to pay closer attention to character continuity as a couple of times he refers to a female character as him/ his and vice versa. The stories are in need of a deep edit as the grammar and punctuation are what let down a worthy collection of short stories.

A Taste of Blood

I found each story engaging, some of the twists quite unexpected. I do feel that a rewrite is in order to reflect today’s positive attitude towards racism, and there are quite a few derogatory words that should certainly be removed. Other than the above I enjoyed each story.

Not usually the type of material I read but I must say I thoroughly enjoyed it, though I think I’ll stay away from Tarot card readings from now on.

Welcome to Hell

This is one of the funniest books I’ve read in a long while. The humour is distinctly off the cuff, and the plot and characters are so endearing as to be childlike yet still appealing to adult readers of all ages. Puts me in mind of the humour of RR’s The Hollow Chocolate Bunnies of the apocalypse 5/5

Sons of Dust

This is the best read I have had in a long time. The characters, plot, swapping between past and present, are flawless.
The descriptive ability of the author is so well done it draws the reader into the actions and the suffering of the characters.
The story is engaging and some chapters are like a runaway train, carrying you along with it for the ride. An excellent piece of writing and certainly deserving of a place in a publishers list.
Reminiscent of “IT”
A horror story well worth recommending.
I agree it would make a great edge of your seat movie.

The Graveyard

A brilliant new take on the Zombie Genre. Characterisation was very good with continuity throughout. The story is captivating and though a little predictable at times this does not dissuade the reader from finishing it. I enjoyed the story and believe the author should write a sequel as it leaves too many questions unanswered as to the fate of humanity.
The books only letdown is that it needs to be proofread to a greater degree. Some if not all of the grammatical errors are blatantly obvious, spoiling what is otherwise a well written piece.

Levy

Although this began as a regular run of the mill zombie novel it has more creatures than Hammer House of Horror. Believable characters, good continuity, good descriptive ability. Needs a final edit to polish up the few grammar, punctuation and spelling mistakes, but a good read, though the ending was a bit vague in what attacked Eli
