I really enjoyed reading this short story. I liked that the author set it squarely in our times of political and social turmoil, in the middle of a Trump protest, but that the main character is not from our time. It made me think of some of Asimov's stories and I would have liked to find out more. The premise is intriguing and I'm left wondering about a few things, especially what happened to the women, as he hints at problems. Not too much is revealed, leaving readers curious for more. I personally would keep reading if this was a longer story, but it works well as a short story too.

I also loved the humor. There is not much of it, but it fits well where it appears in the story.
I sent specific feed back for grammar/sentence structure issues, but those are easy to fix.
