I've been writing since I was 10. Just trying to get the chance to start my career. I have one book published under my belt, but I hide it under an invisible cloak along with my shame for naivete.

As Twisted as Black Mirror

If you love Netflix' Black Mirror, then you'll love these short stories. These are the kind of stories to get you thinking while waiting with bated breath for the twist you know is coming, that always wraps up the story and leaves you feeling chilled, thrilled, or dazed.
My only problem is that I wish the stories were a bit longer, but then I;m the sentimental type of reader for character development. JB Ezar does an excellent job with his writing style and helping the reader to get to know the character despite the brief excerpts that they serve.
Should seriously consider writing a novel. I'd buy it. Short stories or nah.

More Context PLZ

I really enjoyed reading this story. Not a huge fan of fantasy, but I loved the western feel to it. Kind of reminded me of the John Wayne movie UNDEFEATED with Rock Hudson.
Anyway, the writing style is fantastic. It is written very professionally, albeit maybe a little too much dialogue.
My only problem with it is that there needed to be more story in the story. I like to fall in love with the characters I read, but it was hard to follow who's who and what's going on due to how the story starts. I'm used to reading stories that start in the middle of conflict. It can be very interesting when coming up from one side's perspective, especially if you find out later the other side was less controversial and it makes you think. The premise of the fantasy war going on between Wolfe and Elf was interesting, as I'm used to the elves being portrayed as the all-powerful good guys and from their perspectives they're everything innocent when from ancient tales I hear they were more a corrupt kind that died out due to their own arrogance.
Well, a theory, anyway. Keep writing, though! I would love to read more of this story

A sweet short story

I usually don't care for short stories, but lately I find myself growing ever fonder. I'm discovering the unrecognized talent that comes with having to create characters the reader should care about, a plot that has all 3 acts, and a writing style that whirls the reader into a captivating ride.
It's something I find difficult, but Sabrina pulled it off in this short story. We get to recognize the feelings of the protagonist for her lover and peek into her thoughts and emotions as she speaks/thinks as if writing a letter. The ending had the gut punch I was hoping for. The only reason I didn't rate higher is because I thought it could've been a LITTLE longer, even for a short story, and I like to develop feelings for all the characters involved. I did enjoy this piece, and will be looking into more of her stuff.
