I'm just a few chapters in, but I already feel like the story is very interesting and engaging! The author knows how to write a clear plot with clear motivations for each character. Every side character has their own distinct personality, and it is written in a straightforward but very visual way. Great job!

I found this book while searching through the Children's book genre on here, and I was immediately interested in the simple yet interesting premise. After just a few chapters, I was hooked! The author knows exactly how a young child of Barnabee's age and personality would think and act. Realistic but funny, this book feels comfy to read and easy to understand. I'm sure many young children will relate to Barnabee and what she experiences throughout the story.
