Emotional Rollercoaster Ride

Stoic was recommended to me by the author in a book swap and let me tell you this author didn't disappoint. It was an emotional and psychological rollercoaster ride from the beginning to the end. It had me screaming at my device, crying like a baby and feeling for both leads as we were given both of their perspectives during different periods of their lives/relationship. Very few authors on this platform had me jumping up whenever I receive new chapter alerts, then craving for more like a junkie waiting for her next fix.

From the beginning, the author left a disclaimer letting their audience know that English isn't their first language, and I am shocked by how beautifully, well-written this book was. I also appreciated how open they were to the critical feedback left in the comments section and their acknowledgements to those suggested changes. (So, I didn't mind the slight grammatical errors found here and there.)

This is the type of book I will read again. It's that good. Keep up the good work, and I look forward to seeing more of your work.

Uniquely different

I LOVE mythology stories, especially when a writer creates something so unique, new and imaginative about ancient myths.

Algea is such a badass and Seth helps with the comic relief. I love the chemistry between the two main characters and their interactions with other characters in the story; it was well written and creative. You also did an excellent job providing detailed descriptions of the different characters, battle scenes and various locations found throughout the ongoing story.

I can't wait to see what happens next.
Good Job and keep on writing.

Very interesting

The style of writing and the overall portrayal of the story had me feeling like I was reading someone's diary... A well written, quite descriptive diary. The highs and lows, the emotional turmoil and the first-person narrative of the story had this reader in the driver seat of this story. I love stories that keep me on my toes, and this definitely did.

Intriguing

It was an interesting read. You have a great eye for details. Especially, the way you described the scenery and interactions between characters, as well as the development of each character.
However, the length of some of your paragraphs made it difficult for me to concentrate as they were too long. I found myself re-reading the same line or in the need to increase the font size to try follow the story. Lastly, some of your sentences seemed to run on, so some additional editing will be needed.

Overall, it's not my usual type of story but I enjoyed it as you told a captivating story... so keep up the great work.

Light hearted romance, not erotica

I have been seeing this book popping on in my suggested readings and finally decided to give it a read. It took me all of half hour to read. The author provided a disclaimer at the beginning and I was all for going on a "nymphomaniac" journey with them, but I was sadly disappointed. Besides the language and sexual tension, there's nothing in these short 10 chapters that would classify this book as erotic. It reminded of those sexless Harlequin books that one picks based on the sensual cover. I'm sorry if I sound harsh, but the genre classification disappointed me.

As for the overall story, I like Nathan's protective side but Elizabeth has been a victim all her life from school bullies to a manipulate boyfriend, and the heartbreak of losing her parents as a young adult. She needed help, not tricked into another relationship. All I got from this story was that she had a crush on him and he wanted to get into her pants.

Sweet Read.

While this isn't my usual genre for books, it was an interesting read. Keep on working on your story (edits wise) and great job.

Voyeur alert.

Quite a story... Not a type of story I will usually read but I found myself wanting to know more with each passing chapter.
I felt also like a voyeur reading someone else's diary... even, the first-person narrative had me feeling the burglar's emotions... Quite naughty and mysterious.

I want a Mr. Babysitter

Wow... I was originally introduced to this story on Chapters and immediately fell in love with the characters, reading about their growth and developments as well as the many twists and turns associated with the overall plot.
I can't wait for this book to be released on Amazon so I can have my own personal copy of Pia and Alex's love story.
I would be interested to know if we will be getting a story based on Jake and Alicia relationship?
