Review for Chapter One

I thought you have started off very well. I like the idea of not really knowing what the case is about; just getting a feel for our main character and the small town. Nicely done so far.

Very Enjoyable!!!

This was such a great musketeer story!! I really enjoyed the beginning section and how you portrayed Aramis' conflicted emotions about being led back into the fold; then how with subtle urging from Athos he admitted this was where he wanted to be anyway.

I like your depiction of Athos as feeling uneasy in the skin of Captain. But what I really enjoyed was the interaction here between Athos and d'Artagnan, as Athos baring his soul is a rare thing. Your feel for the characters and how they speak was spot on. I could feel the warmth between them - much like father to son. And your ending rounded off perfectly - Aramis glad to back with his brothers.

I enjoyed this very much!! You described their nightmare of war vividly - the heartache here was palpable. Your depiction of Sammie - his good heart; his love of family; and his strength of character was described beautifully. That you described their anguish; and memories of war with the back drop of celebration brought a tear to my eye. Thanks for sharing this!

Review to Boy of the Court

I enjoyed this very much. It is quite a departure from the way we think of on how d'Artagnan meets our three musketeers, but I like it!!! Are you continuing this? It seems like a wonderful start to something more.

Really enjoyed this! Very well paced;and quite thought provoking. You had me wondering who she was; what realm did she come from - and did she only play for him to remember? and why? Wonderful. Thank you for this!!!

Great Start!

I thought that was a great start. The interaction between Pink and the Detective led me to believe that there is an adversarial history there. The appearance of "Snake" as a villain tells me that you have some interesting criminals to share in this universe. I like Pink Punch!! She seems strong; sassy and wants to take out the bad guys. I enjoyed the banter between her and the detective - and sense a tension here that you might build on. I hope you continue!!

Really enjoyed this first chapter to your story. The sequence in the beginning - about a past love of Michael's was interesting. I was a little confused at first; but then realized it was Michael thinking about the past.

I like how you brought us into the future with Michael and Alex. I can see Alex as head strong; and Michael trying to temper that and not break his spirit. I look forward to reading about the relationship between Michael and Alex and how this plays into Alex being the chosen one.

All in all I thought this was very well done - easy to read; and would love to see what direction you are taking with this. Well done!

Well - I really enjoyed this very much! The whole idea of a shared haunting really intrigues me. I thought you did a wonderful job; and I really liked the idea of hearing from the first ghost's point of view. It would be interesting to read more about these two - and the ghost-busters that infiltrate the house. I would definitely like to know their names; history; and how things work out. I think this is a great start - if you decide to go further. Thanks for sharing this!!
