Awestruck
A brilliant hidden gem, if you have a willingness to dig. Be careful though, you will fall in deep. Everything feels alive and real with descriptions that do not miss a single detail of the picture. The world is presented like a moving painting across vast and enriched landscapes, following endearing characters and creatures who feel distant at first but will slowly sneak into your heart. Nothing is familiar here, but it coaxes forth a voracious curiosity.
As conflict arises, introducing a twist like none I have seen before, the pace picks up while still introducing an endless flow of new discoveries and unusual characters.
Though unfinished, I promised myself I'd write a review if I ever happened to catch up. Here I am; it has been worth every page. I cannot confidently name a better book on this site.
Beautiful
Told from a perspective that precious few of us who are young and thriving can slow down long enough to understand. In 11 short pages this story invokes a bitter empathy, and perhaps an acknowledgment of one's own mortality.
Keep up the good work. 😊 Technical skills have room for improvement, but the heart is undoubtedly there.
Excellent Horror
Fantastic storytelling and doesn't need graphic violence or gore to instill dread. An eerie atmosphere hangs over you while reading. It's very easy to burn through the pages of this story in a short time.
