I, Never

This book had me gripped from the very beginning, something about the lure of the mysterious man-whore got me and I was needing every chapter. I waited for chapters, read as soon as they came out and was never disappointed with what came next. Stories like this, where it is a cliché type romance are usually not my thing but the author has put her own spin on this one and made it an original piece that kept me going. I was getting frustrated with the characters, hurt, happy everything I was meant to feel as a reader thanks to the authors talent for writing such great plot twists and turns. Her character arcs were so well developed, both characters learning from each other and their mistakes in a way that was so believable and the way they didn't always say the right thing or shy away from what they needed to do was so relatable because they're human and needed those flaws to get through to each other. It was beautifully written, well paced, had the steamy scenes, the development, everything I enjoy from a book. If I had picked this up on Kindle or paid for it, I wouldn't have been disappointed and I'd be buying a copy for my shelves. Easily my favourite read on Inkitt so far and can't wait for book 2 (which I hope is soon because that cliffhanger was well done but sucked haha) Thanks for taking the time to write such an awesome story Kat. BOOKWORM

Loved this so much, I wish there was more of it.
The main character had flaws and was so relatable, and the dialogue she had was so realistic.
The love interest was charming, sexy and his dirty talk? 🔥🔥🥵🥵
The plot was intriguing and drew me in straight away while the writing was articulate and well structured. It read nice and easy, flowed well and made the entire thing play out in my head. The spice was there, the humour, the banter. Definitely recommend 💋

Sudden Seduction

I loved this read, I'm not usually one for age gap but this one won me over. I enjoyed the writing voice and the characters.
The flow of the story was good to me but there was a bit of a lull in the middle where it dragged on a little. Like it was a bunch of I love you's instead of anything towards the plot but after that section, it got good again and I really enjoyed it.
A bit of editing needed but could read through it without being too distracted.
The lines were a little cheesy at times, the dialogue not as realistic as it could be but maybe that's personal preference, some people like that so I didn't mind reading through those ones. And it is romance and smutt so that stuff has got to go in as an unwritten rule. (I didn't consider this point in my star rating)
Overall, I loved this story and would read it on Galatea, and be happy to wait for the chapters. I wish the author luck over there x 💋

The Ending Sucked.

The plot was going great until the ending sucker punched me. Just read the entire story of Maxen and Michelle falling in love working their shit out, becoming better people together just for that ending? Frustrating as hellllll. Characters were great (not Carlos) and was fully invested in them but now I kinda feel like it was a waste of time learning about them at all because she gapped so I don’t know. I’m mad.

Amazing writing. Fun Plot.

Great plot line! It’s like a sexy supernatural hunger games and I am so there for it. I loved the writing style, kept me reading and engaged each chapter, the voice is strong in the MC too. A little editing needed but didn’t detract from the overall read. Great story-looking forward to seeing what comes next for Sin :)
