After reading through this story, I certainly appreciate the plot and the way it was written. You've got a gritty, real-world feel going on throughout the whole thing, and it's definitely a believable concept, with the way things are going right now in the real world. I enjoyed reading this, but (not meaning to be rude) there were a few instances within involving your technical writing skills that bugged me - mostly it was an unnecessary comma here and there that can otherwise be ignored.
Altogether, this is very well put together and deserves more attention than it appears to be getting.
