Descriptive and Captivating
I love good description, and you definitely delivered that in spades. You convey the tension in the air and the toll on the relationship so well in the first chapter and that last couple lines had me turning the page for more. I'll definitely be adding this to my reading list.

So far that I've read I like the story and overall idea for it. It's a unique take on being blessed by the gods and granted power. I struggled to follow along in the first chapter and couldnt quite figure out why. It got a bit better in chapter two and the technical bits that were throwing me off seem to be improving as I read. That small critique aside, I'd recommend at least giving it a shot if you're into the demi-god kind of fantasy. I know I'll be reading more of it in my spare time and maybe more from the author in the future.
