The Manor

Enjoyable short story. It was chilling all the way through! I always love a good horror book, and this one I feel could be expanded from a short story into a novel and be amazing with a little grammar work.
Good story portraying a "delusional"? young man. It's great to go through wondering what he was seeing and happening to him was real or a part of his mind.
Twisting and creepy!

Uplifting

A strong story of hope and courage.
I find myself enjoying short stories more just because of the busy schedule that life produces. This made a great, uplifting read.
Some points I had trouble with the flow of sentences and grammar, but nonetheless it was a good story..

This story is very powerful and shows the tremendous struggle it is to learn how to relearn your thinking after you leave a religion. There are very emotional moments in the story as you empathize with Ryan as she battles her heart and her mind trying to reconcile things she once held dear, and new things that feel right to her as well. This is a beautiful story of a journey that many that have left the religion they grew up in will be able to relate to. So happy for the hopeful and happy ending the story was able to end on.

Powerful

This book was so emotional for me. Focusing on a sister's love and the struggle to find oneself in a tragedy, or multiple tragedy's in Emily's case.
I actually started to get teary eyed during one of the more dramatic parts in the story.
I envy your way to invoke emotion into your writing.
Great read!

Beautifully Descriptive

I was intrigued with the subject of this book from the snip it I read, and as I continued to read I felt like I was inside the characters brain. His thought processes, his memories, everything was so beautifully and forcefully made aware.
The descriptions were vivid and detailed. At times, I did too wish that there was more dialogue, but I understand the writing style.
It was a beautifully written book, one that truly shows the inward struggles of drug addition. Very good read!

Different

This was an amazing story. I have struggled with similar issues and this pinpointed emotions and feelings in such a unique and witty way. I loved the writing style and the jokes throughout. Absolutely fantastic.

Emotional

The story, for me, was a little hard to get through but not because it didn't have a great plot. The sentence flow was difficult at times.
Still, a great read with emotional pieces that had me wanting to continue reading. There is a lot of potential here, great job!

Gripping.

This story for me, was immediately intriguing. The concept of the captured girls had me curious and it did not disappoint. This story was great at depicting the wisdom of a young person who has been through so much, I sometimes forgot that I was reading about a 17 year old, only to be reminded of it in some form or another and was astonished again at her strength.
Grammar, and spelling was hard to get through at some points, but again the captivating plot line made up for it.
