So Far So Good!

So far, a good start. I can already picture the tears and heartache in store for our FL. This kind of scumbag ML makes me want to smash them with tomatoes for being such cowards! It's the person and their actions, not the bond, that determines how their life unfolds. But I guess they're too wrapped up in their own self-pity to realize this truth...sigh...

Captivated

One word-captivated! A great story with a captivating beginning! I got sucked into the characters, felt their emotions, and even shed a tear when the moon goddess was watching over the wolves who held strong faith in her even when they were confused and scared by the fading connection with their inner wolves. Fabulously done!

Great Opening!

I loved the way you started out, really good plot opening and the fact that she's a young girl struggling to hide how different she is from the rest of her peers absorbed me into the story. One thing that kept disconnecting me from the story was the fact that her parents are unaware of this ability of hers. As a reader, I would expect for her parents to at least have an inkling of their daughter being different, since they clothed, fed, and raised her from a baby, and were the only constant in her life before she even began to make sense of the world. I think it would resonate with the readers more if that point, or lack of, was made more believable? Just my opinion.
