Down And Out In Death City Review

Villain rehab has never been quite this interesting, funny and devastating. Each half of the pairing is determined to keep the other safe, and attempts to do so with mixed results.
Superhero is a genre unsuited to the written word, I've been told. Whoever said that didn't read this.

Internuntii Reveiw

The story is heartwarming/breaking and the humour is sweet and gentle. Everything about this story makes you feel things and there's a hopeful ending despite the ups, downs, trails and tribulations of the story.

i loved it right up until it ripped my heart out

I'm feeling very vulnerable right now but not so vulnerable that I wouldn't punch this author right in the face for doing this to me.

In order for you to understand why that is a big deal, you must first understand that I am an artist by trade, and fully intend to punch them with my dominate hand for maximum pain infliction even though it will likely break due to my own punching incompetence and leave me unable to work for 6-8 weeks depending on the severity of the break.

It would be one hundred percent worth it.

To conclude; I need a bar of chocolate and a training montage.

IOTWCS Review

I always say that if I'm not complaining, I'm not having fun. This story gives me too many feelings and requires the occasional 'put it down and walk it off'
The imagery is stunning and the way it deals with PTSD and life after the end of the world as we know is tragic, hopeful and realistic. It sets up a world gone to hell in a hand basket, and for some unknown reason, it's not because of smartphones.

Icarus

I had the distinct pleasure of creating a piece of art for this fic(not the great piece we see as the cover art, but I still thoroughly enjoyed creating it), and I was stunned by the imagery and visuals that were presented to me in its reading and the authors willingness to accept my ideas and even tweak the wording and descriptions from their original to what we see today!

The story is perfectly original and unique in both its plot and execution, stripping the world bare and filling it with beautiful imagery, stunning stories and great characters!

Steampunk meets Tron

I think. I've never seen tron. I hear it's alright. This fic is better than alright, the main villain hangs like a guillotine over the story, but that didn't stop me from laughing at the antics of the main characters and squirming into a duvet burrito when the occasion(s) called for it. The only issue I had with it was the terminology of 'axel' for the accelocycles, and it's possible that's because of my in ability to spell without the aid of computerized assistance. (because axles are like, already a thing)
The pace was excellent and I could feel myself speeding up and slowing down exactly as the author intended, and I normally avoid 'racing' type works but this one has completely changed my mind about the whole genre!
(also the couply bits were like, super cute and my heart is singing in my chest)
