Interesting
The story has a good concept and an interesting world which does grasp your attention as a reader but lacks the little extra to have you on the edge of your seat and read it to completion in one sitting. The characters could've had more development if the pacing went a bit slower, but that's just how I see it. The most developed character was Jadin, and I still would've liked to know more of him and hints of his past.
Overall it is an enjoyable story but it lacks in some areas.
A thrill to remember
The Dark Place is a great novel for any horror lover. It has a lot to offer with its great plot, unexpected twists and fascinating characters. A recommended read for everyone who enjoys being kept on the edge of their seat in anticipation.
It is a story which deserves to be published and shared with the world and I will be running to get my hands on the first available copy
