A bloodier tale to be told
The Brothers Grimm created frightening fairy tales so it can sometimes take a lot of doing to make them better. Making them bloody is one thing, but making the story entertaining and keeping the twist fresh is always a challenge. That being said, this version of Hansel and Gretel is very well done indeed!
This is a great story! The characters feel very real and original, the plot is constructed well and it reads just like a good fairy tale for bloodthirsty children. I love the character development of the characters as well as the dark humour that runs through the story. There are a couple of grammar and spelling mistakes but nothing that really detracts from such a good read.
Keep up the good work! This is a good beginning!
