"Awww! 😊 I just loved this book! The story is filled with humor, doubts and insecurities, but ... they both (finally!) confessed the feelings they'd had for each other since they were teenagers. And Chris proposing to Em in her "happy place" was the cherry on top for this sweet story! 🥰"

"Resonated with this book it was something similar to what I’m currently feeling very good book."
So sweet
"Another one of Polly's sweet books that are just perfect for a snuggly blanket and a hot cup of tea to cheer yourself up after a stressful day. As always, characters are real people with flaws and strengths and insecurities and wonderful passions... There's lot of love, humour, friends, dreams, memories. Just basicaly everyting you might need in a book. And this one (together with The Reluctant Roadtripper) is definitely making me wish to drop everything (perhaps including my family 🤔😁) and jump on the first plane to Scotland to see the picturesque countryside that's described so appealingly. I'll just have to pack a bit warmer clothes than the characters in the book 😁 "
Stalking in the best way possible
"Okay, so the author apparently says this is her least liked book. And to that, I say: Ma’am, are you okay? Did you not read your own writing? Because I loved this. This might actually be my favorite male lead from her stories. He’s got the most “Alpha energy” out of all her heroes—but hear me out—he’s also emotionally available. I mean, the man knows how to look at a woman like she’s the sun and also unpack emotional baggage? Yes please. He’s a little bit of a stalker, but in the good way (and if you’ve read enough romance, you know what I mean). And the female lead? Absolute gem. She knows what she wants, and she builds a life around it. She travels, blogs, takes photos—basically the dream combo of “do what you love and make it work.” She’s charming, clever, and grounded in a way that makes you root for her from page one. Honestly, I devoured the whole thing with a stupid grin and the occasional swoon. It’s sweet, it’s low-drama, it’s a cozy blanket of a love story—with some heat, some Highland magic, and just enough longing to make it hit all the right places."
Happy hours indeed

"Enjoyed this novel. No bad guys or long misunderstanding between the protagonist. Just a straightforward, sweet tale of love. Great writing Polly. Look forward to reading more of your novels. I would like to add, your description of the Scottish highlands is so good…it makes each place come alive for the reader. "
