Prologue

"Ah, I can't wait to get back to my Sundays, hey Freddy?"

"Yeah, better than digging up some old thing that's about to fall apart."

"Hmm, BBQs and footy. Who's your ace team, pal?"

But Fredrick Victoria wasn't listening to his partner. Both explorers were scouting a cave that was 4.6 miles away from the nearest town. They had received a call to check it out when worry had risen about a tomb of creatures being found at the back of the cave's main tunnel.

"Fred?"

"Milo, come look at this."

Milo James stumbled over to his partner's side and gasped in awe. Just a couple of metres below them was a dark pit with another tunnel entrance, which was glowing bright gold.

"Let's go check it out!"

"Whoa, there Fred. We're not getting any signal down here, what happens if we have an accident?"

"Milo, I honestly don't care, man. I want to see this, stay up here if you want."

"Fred?"

Fredrick set off trekking down the small cliff, Milo watched on in disappointment, he had a bad feeling about letting his partner go in there alone.

"Fred! God's sake, come back in one piece."

Milo stood and watched as Fredrick raced off into the bright cave's entrance.

"I will."

Fredrick waved it off as he took a couple of steps into the cave, the golden light burnt Fredrick's eyes but he still kept going. Fredrick reached the heart of the cave and stood looking all around him.

"Holy... Milo, man, you've got to see this!"

Fredrick called, but Milo didn't reply, Fredrick wondered if he even heard him.

All around the cave's walls were carvings of weird stuff, like Earth but mutated. There were about 18 tombs in total strewn across the cave. Fredrick walked up to one of them which had unusual wording above it. The tomb was slumped against the wall of the cave.

Fredrick pulled it open, the entire cave was gold, even the tombs and walls. Once the tomb was open, Fredrick stood there in complete stunned silence.

Before him, slouched a sleeping white creature. It was taller than the average human and its skin was pure white. It had short white hair and was wearing some sort of white battle suit. It had hands with four fingers, it didn't have toes or ears. A small mouth and eyebrows, along with a nostril less nose. The creature started to stir, Fredrick caught a glimpse of the deep red in its eyes.

"Shit, Milo! Its an albino!"

Milo strained to hear his partner's words but failed, all he caught was a scream and the cry of 'run'.

"Freddy?"

The creature shrieked and hooked its hands around Fredrick, it growled in satisfaction as it snapped and tore his head off completely.

"Fredrick!"

Milo screamed as he heard a sickening snap, he stared in horror as the albino like creature stormed out of the cave and locked eyes with him. It had a broad chest with long legs and strong arms. But the one thing that caught Milo's eye was that this creature didn't have any pupils.

Its eyes were just red, nothing more, just blood red.

Milo screamed as he tried to get away, he lost the creature in the tunnels. But Milo himself had gotten lost, and with that creature around and no signal. All hope was lost.
