Chapter Fourteen

[Earl]

“Hot springs?” I repeated what Matthias just said and he nodded.

“You serious?” I asked again and he clicked his tongue. He put down the folders he was holding and glared at me.

“You wanna make me repeat the same shit over and over again?” Matthias taunted and I grinned a little.

“Sorry. It’s been a while since you invited me to something.” I said as I lowered my head. The moment he said that, my heart skipped a beat in excitement.

“Do you want it, or not?” He asked. His voice was a little gentler than before.

I rolled my eyes at him. “Even if I say no, you’ll just force me to come with you. Just like what you did back when you brought me to your villa.”

Matthias smirked and memories flooded my head. “I reserved a place a few days ago.” He said as he continued to browse the folder he was holding.

I raised my brows. “Can you do that? Is that even legal?”

He snorted and I shrugged my shoulders. “Okay, fine. When will we go?”

“Tomorrow.”

My eyes widened. He’s not serious about this, right? I mean, I want to go to with him, heck, anywhere is fine but tomorrow?

“Really? Tomorrow?”

“Why? Do you want to go now?” He sarcastically asked and I wanted to erase that grin on his face.

“That’s not what I mean.” I mumbled a little bit annoyed at how sarcastic he was. “Any day is fine but not tomorrow, it’s too soon and…”

“Take it or leave it.” Matthias looked at me with fierce eyes and I gulped.

“Fine. Bastard.”

I packed the last set of my clothes and sighed. Matthias said that we’re going to stay there for three days so that means I have to leave my work to Liza again.

And that’s why I don’t want to go this soon. If he could just let me finish my work before I take a vacation that will be great.

But this is Matthias we’re talking about. The same guy who never planned anything (except when he’s killing someone but let’s not think about that anymore). I zipped my bag and threw it on the table so that I can lie on the bed.

I was about to fall asleep when my phone rang beside me. I lazily pulled it over to my ear to answer the call.

“Yes?” I politely asked, not even bothering to know who was calling.

“Packed your clothes already?” Matthias’ voice asked and I grumbled.

“Yeah, I did already.” I answered. I rolled on the side of the bed and sighed comfortably. “You?”

“Still packing. Bella’s been annoying me the whole night. That bitch.” My body woke up at what he said.

“Bella? What happened? Is she…” I bit my lips. Was she forcing him into another contract on killing someone? Oh God, not again.

Matthias chuckled a little. “No, it’s about her marriage. Her boyfriend already proposed and she’s been bugging me, asking me what she should wear and things like that. Fuck, do I look like I know the answer to those shitty questions.”

I laughed at what he said. So Bella’s getting married. The man sure was lucky to get someone like Bella. I mean, elegant and beautiful yet strong and brave. Damn, if I was straight, I’ll definitely go for her too.

“Earl.” Matthias called and I snapped back to reality.

“Yeah, what is it?”

“Nothing. Talk to you later.” He hanged up the phone and I can’t help but to get amused at his behaviour.

Tomorrow came fast and I found myself waiting in front of my apartment. Matthias texted me that he’s going to pick me up so that we can go to our…well…forced and not planned vacation.

Minutes later, Matthias’ car arrived and he parked it exactly beside me. The window slid down, revealing a well-dressed Matthias. He was wearing his casual black jacket with a white shirt inside and black pants to match. Damn, he’s as stunning as ever. I can’t really help but to admire how perfectly handsome he was.

“Well…you coming or not?” He smirked at me and I gulped at how seductive his voice was. I shook my head, erasing the thoughts I just had and quickly stepped inside his car. I put my luggage at the back seat and locked my door before looking at my lover.

“You wanna tell me where this resort is?” I asked and he shrugged his shoulders.

“You’ll see.” He manoeuvres the car and started to drive on.

After several hours of travelling, we finally arrived in front of the hot spring he was talking about. He parked the car beside the signage of the resort and pulled our baggage on the car seat. We both stepped out of the vehicle and I marvelled how peaceful the whole place was. There were trees all decorated all over the court yard. The silent breeze of the wind made me shiver in delight and I thought to myself that I’m going to enjoy this vacation with Matthias.

Matthias dangled one big bag on his shoulders with ease. “Come on.” He walked through the front yard and I followed him closely. Still looking around the area, I spotted one black car a few meters away from us. Maybe it’s the owner’s car or something?

Buongiorno, signore!” We were greeted by the two lady receptionist on the table. They were smiling at us. “We’ve been waiting for you.”

Come, signore, ci accompagnerà alla vostra camera. [ We’ll escort you to your room.] ” I looked at an old lady who appeared in the hallway. Two men were following her and they got our luggage. When everything was ready, the old lady trotted through the long wooden corridors and we followed her. “It’s such a nice day to spend your days here, isn’t it, signore?”

“Yeah, it is.” I answered since Matthias didn’t. “I’m sure we caused you trouble for reserving the whole place in three days.”

Certamente non. [ Certainly not.] ” The old lady turned his head on us while still walking. “It’s a pleasure to let the Blaise visit our place.”

I gaped at her and glanced at Matthias who can’t hide his smirk. Wow, having an influential family doesn’t seem that bad.

We arrived in front of our room and the two men let us enter first. Matthias walked straight to the bed and laid down, probably tired from all the driving while I stood in the middle of the room. The huge, open windows of the balcony made me gasp in amazement. I can see the whole lake just outside our window.

“I hope you enjoy your stay here, signore.” The two men put our luggage on the floor as they waited for the old lady.

“Yeah.” Matthais muttered. One of his arms was on top of his eyes and he looked very tired.

“Uh, thanks a lot for everything, ma’am.” I sweetly smiled at her.

“No problem. Now, don’t hesitate to call us if you need something. Dinner will be arranged at exactly 6 pm. Enjoy your afternoon.” They all bowed at us and left the room.

“I’m certainly impressed.” I said to break the silence. Matthias cracked a smile but he didn’t move. I stepped towards him to see if he was sleeping but yelped when he suddenly yanked my wrist. I fell down on top of him and he quickly snaked his strong arms around my waist.

“What the…?” I tried to pull away but as usual, he was much stronger than I am.

He nuzzled the side of my neck and sighed in contentment. “I wanna fuck you.” He whispered oh so sexily and I immediately felt something hard below me.

“Hmmm, you like that?” He asked in amusement as his large hands rubbed behind my back. I moaned at his touch and purred his name only to make him chuckle.

“Matthias…it’s too early.” I managed to say but Matthias snorted.

“You think that will stop me? We can see everything.” He traced one finger on my right arm.

I shut my eyes as I tried to think of something else. “Matthias please…”

“Shut up.” His mouth ravaged mine and I ended up melting as soon as he touched my lips.

“Wait…” I used my hands to pull away from him. Our breath got caught into a hitch and he smiled at me.

“Take your clothes off.” He whispered and I meekly nodded. I sat on his crotch and took my shirt off. I heard him smirk and I shyly smiled.

Matthias kissed my forehead, my nose and my lips until he reached down below my neck. He bit my collarbone and I moaned in delight.

“Matthias…” I called his name and he smiled.

I felt his arms around my waist and I grinned. I buried my face on the crook of his neck while smelling the faint scent of that expensive perfume he always wears.

“I wish we could always relax like this.” I whispered and I heard him smile.

“We can always do that.” He said and I shook my head.

“We can’t. We have jobs.” Matthias snorted at what I said but didn’t comment on it.

“But we could always do this, right?” He smirked and I knew what he meant.

I blushed and hugged him closer. “I-I guess we can.” I pulled away a little to stare at his eyes.

“Matthias. I love you.” I flushed even more after saying that. It’s been a while since I’ve said those words and I can’t help but to feel embarrassed.

He smiled. “Yeah, I know.”

I pouted and kissed him on the lips. “I love you. I love you. I love you.” I repeated and giggled when I saw that he was trying his best not to laugh.

“Why do I always want you all the time?” He asked and I laughed out loud.

We’re acting like a stupid couple but I can’t help but to feel happy. I can’t believe that after all the things that had happened, Matthias and I remained the same.

We remain in love with each other.

“What’re you doing?” He asked when I untangled myself from him. I crawled down until my head was facing his crotch. I clumsily undid his belt and he only raised his brow at me. “Turning wild now, aren’t we?”

I bit my lips and lowered my head so that I can hide my flushed face away from him. I pulled his pants halfway and blushed even more when I saw the huge budge under his branded black briefs.

My heart was beating fast that I can even hear it. My shivering hands reached up to grab his member. I traced the edges of his cock with my fingers and bit my lips when I heard him moan.

“You fucking tease.” He said before looking at me with eyes filled with lust.

“Just returning the favour.”

I muffled my laugh when he clicked his tongue, stood up and pulled his briefs all the way down. “Suck me.”

“As you wish.” I swallowed him whole and it made him groan so loud. I saw his hands clenching the sheets of the bed and damn, that sight was enough to make me hard. I licked his long rod, from bottom to top and kissed the head, over and over again.

Mhmm, it feels so good to suck his cock. I wrapped my hands around his huge penis and I stroked it, long and hard, making him bit his lip in pleasure.

“Earl.” He moaned my name.

“Mhm?” I answered while I continued to give him a blowjob. He grabbed a fistful of my hair and pushed my head to take him whole again. I gagged a little bit but I managed to adjust. I sucked him even more just to let him feel the pleasure I always wanted to give him.

I gasped when he suddenly pushed me away. “M-matthias?”

He sat on the bed and took his shirt off before throwing it somewhere on the floor. He leaned towards me and I gulped at what he said. “I’m going to eat you now.”

I blushed at what he said. “W-wait…I’m still…”

Matthias shushed me down with his lips. He pulled my tongue out and sucked it before dipping back inside. His soft lips were perfect against mine and I can’t wish for anything more.

“Matthias…” Matthias pulled away while I panted against his kiss.

He pushed me down on the bed. “What?”

“I…”

I saw his hands travelled lower and lower until it reached my crotch. I moaned and threw my head when he started to massage my hard cock.

His hands went inside my pants and he found his way back into my cock. He stroked it a few times before pinching the head and rubbing it in between his rough fingers. I shut my eyes and grabbed something, I don’t know what, just to keep myself from coming in his hand.

“M-matthias, I’m…” I cried out when I finally came all over his hand. I thought he was about to stop but I gasped when I noticed that he was already preparing himself to enter me. He quickly pulled my pants and boxers away and loomed over me.

“H-hey…” I readied myself when I saw that he was positioning himself to thrust me. And when he did, I screamed so loud.

“Ngh!! I-it hurts!” I covered my face with my hands to stop myself from screaming louder. “M-matthias!” He pushed his big cock deep inside me and I can’t think of anything anymore.

“Aaaaaagh!!”

He silenced me again with his kiss and I moaned in pain. He remained motionless for a few seconds before thrusting back inside.

“Fuck, still…so tight.” He groaned as he continued to thrust his cock inside me. I tightly clenched around him and he cursed. “Shit, Earl...”

“Matthias…!” I can’t anymore. I can’t stop it. My mind’s going into haze, it’s getting blank. The sensation of him being inside me was too much. “Matthias…I…!”

I yelped and threw my head in sheer pleasure when Matthias started to play with my cock. His hand was stroking it, too fast that it’s making my whole body numb.

I can feel my saliva dripping off my chin. It feels too good. “W-wait…!” We racked our bodies together making the bed creak out loud.

I arched my back when I finally felt that I’m near. I grabbed Matthias’ neck and held it tight. “Matthias…I’m coming!”

“Yeah, that’s it. Come for me.”

He kissed me one last time before coming together.

“Why’d you bring me here?” I asked Matthias as I walked towards him. The warm water of the hot springs tingle my skin. When I reached up to him, he grabbed my arms to pull me towards his body.

“I wanna relax with you.” He muttered and I smiled.

“That’s a valid reason.” I looked down and saw the clear view of our naked body underneath the water. Matthias saw me looking and he smirked.

“You want to fuck here?” He teased while brushing his lips against my ears.

“I’m not as horny as you, bastard.” I whispered the last part but he of course, heard it.

Matthias raised one brow. “Oh really? Who was it again who gave me a blow-…” He didn’t even finish his sentence when I splashed him with water.

“Shut up!”

He quickly evaded it and growled at me. “That’s freaking hot, you idiot!”

“Serves you right.” I hid my laughter and Matthias just rolled his eyes.

He moved towards me but stopped and looked at his right. I blinked at him and glanced at the direction he was looking at but saw nothing.

“What?”

Matthias’ eyes were sharp but as soon as he heard my voice, he relaxed. “Nothing. I thought I saw something.”

I looked around only to see rocks and grasses surrounding the hot springs. “There’s nothing here.”

“Yeah, must be my imagination.” He mumbled.

I got back to our room alone since Matthias said he wanted to talk to the owner. While walking, I saw a random door on the corridor slightly open. I passed by it but stopped when I heard whispers inside.

“Mhmmm, come on, ride me faster babe…!” A man with deep voice roughly mumbled.

The bed creaked louder and a woman’s voice came. “Yeah, that’s it! You’re so big! I want more…ngh!”

I silently gasped and quickly trotted away from the room. Why would they leave their door open if they’re doing that kind of thing?

I turned to the right on the corridor and suddenly banged someone making the two of us fell on the floor. I winced in pain when my butt painfully dropped on the wooden tiles.

“Shit!” I looked to the person who I bumped and saw a lady with long brunette hair. She was wearing the hot spring’s uniform and was carrying sets of towels which were already scattered on the floor.

“Sorry, I didn’t see you!” I kneeled down to get the towels but she ushered me away.

“No, it’s alright, sir.” I stopped when I noticed that she’s got American accent. Must be a foreigner like me. I studied her a little bit closer. Her eyes were tired and her hands were shivering.

“You okay?” I asked as I tried to help her again.

She lowered her head like she’s avoiding my gaze. “I-I’m fine sir.” She quickly gathered the towels, stood up and ran away.

“Hey wait!” I watched her disappear in the corner.

Well, that was definitely weird.

“Hey, I thought you reserved this place.” I put my boxers on and looked at Matthias who was drying his hair with the towel.

Matthias looked at me. “Yeah, why?”

I remembered the little scene a while ago and blushed. “No reason.”

He eyed me cautiously before moving towards the cabinet. He threw the towel over his shoulders, grabbed a cig and lit it up. “Did you see someone else here?”

I bit my lips. Should I tell him what I saw? He might tease me for being such a lewd person if I tell him but still. He was kind of guarded a while ago back at the springs so maybe he noticed that we weren’t alone here as well.

“Maybe someone else is here.” I muttered and he looked at me.

“You think so?”

I suddenly remembered the black car parked in front of the lawn. “Yeah.”

Matthias pulled the towel on his shoulders and slung it on the chair. “I’m gonna walk around.” He said in a deep voice that made me shiver.

I inwardly sighed and asked myself when we will have a peaceful vacation without involving someone from the Mafia.

Maybe we’re just over-thinking about this. After all we’ve been through we might have been turned into paranoids.

I glanced over at Matthias who was busy chucking his guns underneath his coat. I narrowed my eyes. Even if he promised not to kill people, he still carries his gun wherever he goes. Well, I don’t blame him. Old habits are hard to die.

“Matthias…” I called him and even though my voice was low, he still heard it. He turned around to look at me.

“What?” He lazily buttoned his coat and stepped a little closer to me.

“Do you really have to look around?” I asked and I saw his hand twitched.

“I can’t risk getting you hurt here.” He mumbled and I blushed at that. Why was he so romantic but he doesn’t seem to know that himself. He walked to the door and when he was right about to open it, I called him again.

“Make it quick, okay?” I warned and he smirked.

“Yeah, you might end up getting lonely.” He left the room and I sighed.

“Fuck.”

After a few minutes of debating with myself, I finally decided to look around. Okay, I know it’s stupid but I cannot just stay in the room and do nothing. Besides, I’m bored without Matthias. And it’s a vacation anyway so I can do anything.

I walked in the corridor while gazing around. The walls were covered with different paintings from different time era and I got engrossed on looking at them that I didn’t even realized where the hell I am.

I looked around and paled. The hall was empty and the only lights I can see we’re the ones from the outside.

“Damn it.” I muttered. I instinctively grabbed my pockets to pull my phone but cursed when I remembered that I left it in the room.

I turned around to get back to where I first started walking. At every step I made, I can’t help but to feel creep out by the whole place.

I heard myself gulp. “Shit.” I silently muttered while continuing to walk. I need to go back before someone sees how close I am to shitting myself.

“Uh…”

I visibly shivered when someone suddenly talked beside me. When I saw the same girl I bumped into a while ago, I forced myself to smile so that she won’t notice how scared I am.

“Y-yes? Is something wrong?” I asked her.

“Are you lost?” She timidly asked and my eyes twitched in embarrassment.

I rubbed the back of my head and nervously laughed. “Kind of.” I said and she smiled a little.

“I can take you back to your room, sir.” She suggested.

I blinked at her and smiled as well. “That would be a pleasure.”

We walked together back at our room. Now that I looked at her more closely, I realized how dark the rings under her eyes were. I also noticed fresh wounds on her hands. I wonder what happened to her. Did she fall or something?

“Sorry for bumping you earlier, sir.” She started and I laughed at her.

“Forget about it. No harm done.” I smiled to tell her that it wasn’t a big deal.

She scowled a little bit but shook her head.

We arrived at our room and I faced her. “Thanks.”

The girl weakly smiled. “It’s all I can do to apologize for what I did.”

I snorted. “I told you it’s nothing.”

I looked up only to see Matthias behind us. He looked down at the girl and then looked at me. “What happened?”

The girl calmly turned around as if she sensed that Matthias was already behind her. She bowed her head low and trotted away from us.

Matthias and I watched her disappear from the corner. “Who’s that?”

“Someone who works here. She accompanied me back here because I was lost.” I answered but gulped when Matthias dangerously glared at me.

“Lost? Where’d you go?”

“Just…strolling around and admiring the view.” I forced a smile. “Did you find something unusual?” I quickly changed the subject so that he won’t scold me anymore.

Matthias narrowed his eyes, probably debating himself if he’s gonna let me go that easily. He sighed and rubbed his temples. “Not really.” He pulled me inside the room and immediately locked it.

He sat on the sofa and I leaned on the wall. “So everything’s alright already?”

“Probably.” He answered. He took his phone out and browsed it.

“We’re safe now, right?” I asked again and he nodded.

I sighed in relief. “That’s good.”

Matthias put his phone down on the table before resting his chin on the back of his hand. “Do you want to see something nice?”

I looked at him with curiosity and he just shrugged his shoulders before standing up. He walked towards the direction of the balcony and in one swift motion, he opened its door.

My eyes twinkled in amazement when I saw thousands of flickering lights just outside. My feet began to walk by itself and by now, I’m standing in front of those shining lights.

“Wow.” I managed to breathe out.

Matthias was leaning on the side of the door with his arms crossed on his chest. He smiled a little before staring at the fireflies. I can see the reflection of the lights on his eyes and it was the most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen in my life.

“Thanks for bringing me here.” I said and he looked at me with those beautiful eyes.

“It was worth it.” He replied and I smiled.

“Yeah, it’s definitely worth it.”

Damn…damn it all. I can’t sleep! Not because Matthias’ arm was on top of me, guarding me like someone’s about to snatch me. No, that’s not the reason.

It’s because my heart was still fluttering in happiness on all of the things that had happened this day. The trip with Matthias, the afternoon sex, the evening spring, and those fireflies that we watched before sleeping…

It’s all too good to be true. It’s like all those painful things that happened in the past was just an imagination. Like…it never even happened.

I turned to the side and watched Matthias’ sleeping face. He looked so peaceful you won’t even believe that this guy was a cold-blooded killer. I reached up to caress his cheeks and he purred against my touch. I smiled to myself, thinking how this man ended up falling in love with someone like me.

I moved closer so that I can kiss him on the lips. I puffed my cheeks when he murmured my name on his sleep.

I smiled before groaning. Fuck, at this rate, I really can’t go to sleep. I sat up on the bed and decided to drink something. I stood up and trotted to the kitchen but stopped when I heard voices from outside.

I looked at Matthias and I saw him still sleeping.

“I told you to lure him away.” My ears twitched after hearing those voices. I quickly moved to the balcony door to hear more of their conversation.

“But…”

I know that voice. That’s…

“Do you want me to punish you again? Do your job before I kill you, you worthless bitch.”

What the hell was that all about?

Two days passed and it’s time to leave our vacation. I finished packing our things and I’m just waiting for Matthias to finish his bath.

But I still can’t forget about the conversation I heard days ago. I already told Matthias about it but he said that there’s no one else in this resort except for the two of us.

Fuck, maybe I really getting paranoid. I can’t stop myself from thinking that we’re not always safe. Now I know what Matthias feels like.

I heard the door of the bathroom opened. Matthias came out with a towel wrapped around his waist.

“Your clothes are on top of that table.” I pointed and he nodded. He walked towards it and get dressed while I secured our luggage.

After changing, we head down to the reception. I looked at Matthias who was carrying all of our things with ease. Geez, how strong is this guy anyway?

We arrived in front of the reception and the owner was there to thanks us. Matthias just casually left while I thanked them for their humble services. They bid me goodbye and I followed Matthias who was already outside the lawn.

He put our bags in the car’s trunk while I waited for him inside. When he was done, he climbed inside the vehicle and started the engine.

Come to think of it, I never saw the girl again after that time when she led me to our room. I wonder what happened to her. Maybe she’s just busy with her job? I didn’t even manage to say goodbye.

“What’s wrong?” Matthias asked and I noticed that he was already smoking.

“Nothing.”

FUCK!”

Matthias suddenly stepped on the brake making the car screech.

“What?!”

There was a black car in front of us. It’s the same one I saw when we first came to the resort.

Matthias clicked his tongue. “Fucking bastard.” He opened the door and walked to the car that was blocking the road.

I climbed out as well in case Matthias do something…unnecessary.

The owner of the car also came out. He was wearing a casual outfit and he was clutching his head like it was hit or something.

Matthias approached him. “Don’t you know how to drive?” He sarcastically asked.

“Sorry. I lost control of the brake and…” The man looked up to see Matthias. “Shit, are you hurt?”

“No, my car is.” He nodded towards the hood of the car and there was a slight scratch. Oh damn, Matthias certainly won’t let this go.

“Damn.” The man quickly took his phone out and called. After calling whoever it was, he looked at Matthias again.

“I’m willing to pay for all the damages. I’m Nicholas Hall by the way.”

“I don’t care about your name. Just pay me up or else…”

I quickly pushed Matthias away. “Thanks. We’re sorry for the trouble as well.” I glared at Matthias who was just looking at me in disbelief.

“Fuck, whatever.”

“You’re so lucky you finally had your vacation!” Liza yelled and I just sighed at her. She’s been complaining at me for the past few hours on how much she wanted to go to her own vacation.

I grabbed the folders and arranged them before putting it back on the drawers. Now that my work is done, I can finally go to the lounge to smoke and have some coffee.

I took my coat and looked at Liza. “I’ll take a break now.” I said. She nodded her head and continued to print the documents I asked her to do.

I went to the lounge and thank God it wasn’t full. I picked my usual spot near the window and sat on the chair.

“Oh, it’s nice meeting you again.”

“Huh?” I turned my head to the side and saw the same man who crashed our car a few days ago. “W-what?” I stood up and he smiled at me.

“I apologize for the accident that happened that time.” He said and I waved my hands.

“No, it’s all settled now so it doesn’t matter.” At least to me. “What’re you doing here?”

“I came here for a meeting.” He said and I raised my brows at him.

“Meeting? With whom?” I asked. He took out a card inside his wallet and he gave it to me. I read his name and it made me drop my jaws after learning who he really was.

“I’m the current CEO of the Caro-Hall Enterprises.” Nicholas introduced before reaching up to shake my hand. “And you are?”

So that’s why he’s so confident about the car crash because he’s one heck of a rich man. He’s company practically owned most of Italy’s important franchises.

I shook his hand. “I’m Earl Harrison. It’s nice meeting you, sir.”

He heartily laughed. “Don’t call me sir, Nicholas is fine.” He said and I smiled a little.

“Okay, Nicholas.”

Nicholas grinned. “Good. Mind if I sit with you? I’m just waiting for my secretary.”

“Sure!” We both sat down and he stared at me.

“Come to think of it, why are you together with the CEO of Altrees at a resort?” He asked and my eyes widened. Fuck, I know it’s weird for two guys to go to a resort. He might think that we’re seeing each other. I mean, we are but if someone like him knew what Matthias is, it’ll definitely cause trouble.

“Ehhh, it’s because…” I looked around to think of a perfect excuse. “Sir Matthias said that…”

He laughed again. “You don’t have to worry. It’s not my business anyway!”

I forced a laugh. “Ah hahaha…okay.”

“Your boss is a tough one ha. I was afraid he’s going to beat me up that time.” Nicholas said and I twitched. He’ll probably do that if it weren’t for me.

“Ah, yes, he’s a bit of a short-tempered person.” I said. “But he has his moments.”

“Really? I always wanted to work with someone like him.” I looked at him as he crossed his legs and leaned back on the chair.

“What?”

He smirked and at that moment, I immediately knew he’s up to something. “I’m pretty interested in taking over this company.”

“Excuse me?”
