Blood Wars

Chapter one: The Spark:

You think all was well with life? That's where you're wrong! The vampires and immortals hated each other. But this hatred was kept secret. That was until one cold night in January during the feudal era.

Three immortals were walking home on this ban when the spark struck. A hungry vampire named Lena was waiting for them. When they were almost home, Lena jumped out. The immortals prepared for battle, but it was useless. She killed them all and drank them dry.

When the families of the immortals found out the truth, they were enraged. So enraged, they decided to take revenge on their own. Hang, a sister of one of the dead immortals, followed Lena to her courtyard. The lady vampire sensed something and prepared to attack. But it was too late.

Hang was a water immortal the upper hand.

"Water song!" she cried out. A huge water spiral shot out of her hands and shot Lena in the chest. What was more devastating, the water was holy water! Lena screamed as she burned away.

Such battles like this are what fueled the infamous battles known as the "Blood Wars."

I came back not expecting much, just to be drawn into the story and the characters. I would buy this book in real life, as long as another was promised shortly after.
