Blurb

In a world knocked into war five unlikely people become stronger, faster and better then before, they become heroes to this world; this is their Origins!

Meet Quantum Ice

In a world unlike our own, five unlikely people are about to have a wake-up call like no other; but before we begin I shall take you to a place I know so well.. Who am I.. I am Zachery Quinn and I am the first hero! I am the hero of Ice!

It began like any other day; It was Monday morning in my home city of Korrn, me and my twin brother were job hunting like we always do on a Monday, when it happened. A flash of light came from the local power plant; and before I knew it a shock wave sent me and my brother hurtling through a shop window.

...

When I awoke the city had been decimated; it stood in ruins, draped on what used to be a wall of the shop rested a skeletal corpse that wore my brothers clothes. I stumbled out the shop leaving behind the corpse and my past life. I stood confused in what used to be a street that I walked down many a time. My eyes caught on the bodies that rest in the street. Many children not older then 3. With a chocked sob I tore my eyes away and back to the body that rested in the shop; my brother. My rock, with a scream that could shatter windows snow started to fall, crystallized tears fall from my eyes; as I leave behind my former name. I take on a new name, a new identity; something that matches my new power and my new look. I become Quantum Ice; and at the same time I make a promise to myself. I promise to become a hero, to protect the people of the world.

That is how I became me, that I how I became a member of the Origin's. My story may not be long, but I'll be glad to share more information with you all.

Tori Ann Johnson: In the chapter "blame it on the liquor" Nikolai is thinking and it speaks of a body being cremated instead of dumped.... when it should say the opposite- the body was dumped instead of cremated. Just a simple fix I noticed that needs to be done. I am enjoying the story and it has me hooked, waiti...

mustang65: This story was awesome.

Deleted User: Definitely a new spin to the wolf thing. I loved it. Its different and great to read.

mustang65: I really liked the way it ended, so creative so going on to the next book in your series makes sense. All your stories have been really good, but this once I loved the best.

Alena: Absolutely loved it.Sometimes the plot didn't make sense like, whatever happened to Dane?Other than that I 100% recommend this book to werewolf lovers who are looking for a different type of storyline full of adventure, love, sacrifice, and betrayal.

Rida mohammadi: Beautifully portrayed. What I liked most is, there's no sappy romance, or one mate for life concept. Difficult time comes and goes, every one deals with them differently, but the support and love of dear ones can make it easier to bear.

Sarge: Very good, it has a lot of promise.

Kaysey Ann Tan: Oh my god! I'm her fan. I've read most of her books, not only once or twice but lots of times. It's so amazing and her leads are so possessive and sometimes harsh but you could still see how all that portrays the love, care and respect they have for their partners. Reading her books makes me wond...

Kimberly K: This was a very exciting story. I wasn't able to figuratively "put the book down" until I finished it. There were a few grammar mistakes, and there could be a little more backstory for the characters (mostly in how they got to know each other) but it flowed really well and was a fun read. I can't...

Marydancer33: Loved the plot and characters in the book.I did feel bad for the Knight L. in the end.Author's research into the subjects of blacksmiths work was detailed and very helpful to paint a picture in your mind.Author doesn't go into rants about every single detail... they knew how much to include with...

Bookworm00: This is a great series! I don't like the cliffhangers. I also don't like the repetition of everyone's point of view. I truly hope part 3 comes out soon. I don't like forgetting storylines.
