It’s 1987. James Egan, an insurance broker, because of a series of life-changing set backs has fallen in with a gang of criminals. They plan to make use of Egan’s standing with his clientele to enact an audacious robbery. However Causio, the gang leader, has a hidden agenda. He and his henchmen also mean to double-cross and frame Egan. But on the day of the theft Egan, realising their intentions, acts first and escapes to Spain with the proceeds. There he meets a woman and, mutually attracted, a relationship begins. But the gang have discovered Egan’s whereabouts and in a Costa Brava setting, against a background of two people now deeply in love, a mayhem of violence, terror and killing erupts.
