Dad and I set out to catch some krill. He told me “It’s good to travel, Lupin. You never know who you’ll meet.”
And I remembered that.
We were just passing the Shark’s Abyss, when Dad’s words suddenly came true.
I heard a pleasant voice, looked up to the surface and Oh! She bumped into me quite naturally without warning.
Who? You may be asking. A tender beauty of a size like mine. Wild as a Dolphin and crazy as one of those sea cucumbers at the bottom of the ocean.
“Oops, sorry! I was lost in thought and suddenly bang!” the strange female said. “Are you alright?”
“I, er, yes,” I stuttered. “I guess so.”
“I’m Atli and you are?”
“Nice name. Nice to meet you, Lupin. I think I’ll join you for a while, if you don’t mind?”
Then Dad came and met her.
And so I met the female Blue Whale called Atli.
