The Boring Life I Live

Dear Diary,

I thought I, Kaitlin Collins, (But I only go by Kate) would never have anything to write in here because I have no life what-so-ever. If you're like my bestie Sam and don't believe me, I'd tell you to ask Tiffany the queen b-word of my school because she makes sure to remind me of how pathetic I am every opportunity I have. However, you're an inanimate object and thus incapable of asking her. That's why I'm going to elaborate on how dull my existence is. Every day is the same routine - wake up, get dressed, eat breakfast, go to school, head home, do homework , eat dinner, shower, sleep, and repeat it all the next day. It's exciting I know. (Insert roll of eyes here) That's what I get for living in a town where there's nothing but Christmas and to look forward to. Just for once I'd like something new and interesting to happen. I need some adventure in my life, something to give it real meaning and purpose. I'm not gonna life forever, but luckily my school recently started a foreign exchange program as some sort of "learn about cultures of other countries" project. For me, it's more of a "my ticket out of spending my life in a place only the residents and God know of" project. I want to sign up because I am qualified with my high grade point average. (Not to brag or anything) However, I need to nag my parents into submission, I mean convince my parents that this is a great opportunity that will help me grow as an independent person. Wish me luck because I'll need it with parents like mine. I love them but they can be a bit protective and by a bit I mean very. Well, I'll be back to tell you what they say.

ernbelle: When I first started this story I was a little unsettled by all of the information that appears in the prologue, and wasn't sure if I would continue. However, I am very glad I did. CookieMonster911: The story overall was an adventure that is appealing to any age. The way the characters develop adds a more human characteristic to the novel. The writing style itself is amazing because you can learn every character's thoughts and emotions. The awkward love triangle and jerk moments adds to the ...

Dru83: This is perhaps my favorite part of the Olafson story just because it is here that were are introduced to his "gang". The characters are so diverse and complicated that each of them could just about spawn their own story. Eric's buddies are just so captivating and the plot just rolls along. Again...

Katharine Southworth: I think this is an important love story. The author tackles the highs and lows of a romantic relationship and I truly empathized with both characters. LouiseJ2: I enjoyed the detail you went into with regards to the case. It made the UNSUB appear believable. The crisis in the middle of the story was my favorite part, very dramatic but not over the top. I feel like sometimes pairings can be overdone but I liked that some of the relationships were a little...
