Chapter 7: my wolf

I woke up to the sound of a noise, the noise sounded like a human walking around. The noise was coming from my camper. I got off the ground, now I was back to human form. I was also... naked! I swung my head from side to side, I didn't see anyone.

Without waiting, I yanked open the door to my camper and flung myself inside. Shaneel froze in the middle of her pacing and stared at me.

"What happened to you? Where did you go? How dare you run from me like that?" Shaneel screamed after a pause, her voice went from concerned to angry.

"If you want answers, you have to let me talk." I told her, she took a deep breath and plopped down on the couch. "First, is there anywhere I could get some clothes?" I asked her.

She laughed and said, "I'll be back in a bit." Then she hopped off the couch and walked to the door. At the door she looked back at me. "Wait here."

With that, she opened the door and walked out. I closed the door and walked to the window. I stared through the window at her retreating figure. When I could no longer see her, I sighed at sat on the couch.

I grabbed an old, dirty blanket and wrapped myself up. A breeze blew in through a crack in the window, I shivered and pulled the blanket tighter around me.

After being awake almost all night, I was tired. I curled up on the couch, with the wrapped around me. I let my eyes drift closed, within moments, I was asleep.

I woke up in a room, but is was as if I wasn't awake, like I was only half-conscious. I was in a brightly-lit room, the walls were white. I couldn't see a door anywhere. I put my hand against the wall, it was padded. I ran my fingers along the wall, searching for anything that would give me a way out.

While I searched, I began to have the feeling I wasn't alone. I froze and listened. I slowed my breathing until it was so quiet I couldn't hear it. My eyes darted all over the room, looking for anything... anyone.

Zenya. A voice whispered in my head, I probably wouldn't have heard it if I wasn't being so quiet.

"W-what? What do you want?" I screamed. My head swung from side to side.

Zenya, listen. Do you hear your heartbeat? The voice whispered to me again.

"What do you mean?" I screamed at the voice, my voice echoed in the small room.

Listen to your heartbeat. The voice said.

I took deep breaths until I was calm, then listened to my heartbeat. It was fast, faster than normal.

"What is that supposed to tell me? What do you wants?" I screamed into the blank room.

It's faster than it should be, isn't it? The voice asked.

"Yes, why does that matter though?" I screamed.

You aren't human anymore. The voice told me calmly.

"What do you mean?" I asked the voice.

I think you know. The voice told me, and it was right. I remembered the werewolves, the bite, and my hunt last night.

"Is that why I woke up naked?" I asked the voice, letting myself calm down because I knew the voice was right. I wasn't human anymore, I was a werewolf.

Yes, that would be why. The voice replied with a chuckle.

"Who are you?" I asked the voice.

Who else, your wolf. The voice said, and a second later, I wasn't alone. A large, black wolf stood across from me. The wolf was as tall as me, it had purple eyes that bore into mine.

"M-my wolf?" I stammered, unable to look away from the wolf.

Yes, my name is SadieDash. The voice told me, the voice was obviously female. Also, how did you speak with your mind before, to the werewolf pack?

"Huh, what do you mean?" I asked SadieDash.

People always have there wolf with them, most just never meet their wolf. So I was there when you yelled at the alpha, with your mind. SadieDash explained.

What do you mean? I asked again.

You just did it again.

Did what? I asked, then I realized my mouth wasn't moving, but the words were clear. I gasped and flung myself against the padded wall.

Come with me. SadieDash said, suddenly a door opened in the wall. SadieDash walked through it and I followed.

When I walked out if the room, my wolf disappeared and I was alone.

Where did you go? I screamed to my wolf, spinning in a circle. I was in another room, this one much larger than the other one. It had a faded grey color to it, the walls were concrete and had pieces missing.

I am in your mind. SadieDash said to me. Unless we are merged, or in that room back there, I am forced to stay in your mind.

There was a large window on the left wall. Where do I go?

Through the window. SadieDash told me.

Okay. I gulped and ran towards the window. Before I collided with it, I tucked my head down and threw my arm up.

Just as my arm shattered the glass, the room changed. I was now in a large warehouse. There were stacks of crates covering the room. From behind one of the crates came a wolf.

I recognized the wolf as the alpha from the other day. He walked towards me I looked me in the eye. My wolf growled at the alpha wolf through my mind.

The alpha wolf growled, but didn't attack. Instead he told me to raise my right hand. I hesitantly raised my right hand and waited. Now, repeat after me.-

I repeated what he told me to. When he stopped, I stopped and looked at him. You can now put your hand down, you are now part of the Silver Moon Pack. Welcome to the Silver Moon Pack, you are now part of our family.

I was shocked, but I guess I knew it was coming. I slowly put down my right hand and shoved my hands in my pockets. In my "dream", my mind was nice enough to give me clothes. Which was sweatpants and a sweatshirt.

I shoved my hands into the pockets of my sweatshirt and watched as the alpha wolf retreated into darkness. My wolf then started speaking to me.
