Two black trucks sat in Marney’s driveway.
The driver of the first truck spoke into his walkie-talkie. “We’re at the house and all the lights are off. Looks like no one’s home. But, there’s a truck in the driveway.”
His walkie-talkie shook in response, “I DON’T CARE WHAT IT TAKES; YOU GET THAT VIDEO!” the familiar voice bellowed.
The driver looked at the guy next to him. “We need to finish this tonight or we’re done. Let’s check out the house first since we’re here and then the barn. You go around back and I’ll try the front. Then we’ll cut the lines.”
