Romans Chapter 6

What shall we say thenShall we continue in sinthat gracemay abound

God forbid. How shall wethat are dead to sinlive anylonger therein

Know ye notthat so many of us as were baptized into JesusChrist were baptized into his death

Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into deaththatlike as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of theFathereven so we also should walk in newness of life.

For if we have been planted together in the likeness of hisdeathwe shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection

Knowing thisthat our old man is crucified with himthat thebody of sin might be destroyedthat henceforth we should notserve sin.

For he that is dead is freed from sin.

Now if we be dead with Christwe believe that we shall alsolive with him

Knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dieth no moredeath hath no more dominion over him.

For in that he diedhe died unto sin oncebut in that helivethhe liveth unto God.

Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sinbut alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal bodythat yeshould obey it in the lusts thereof.

Neither yield ye your members as instruments ofunrighteousness unto sinbut yield yourselves unto Godasthose that are alive from the deadand your members asinstruments of righteousness unto God.

For sin shall not have dominion over youfor ye are not underthe lawbut under grace.

What thenshall we sinbecause we are not under the lawbutunder graceGod forbid.

Know ye notthat to whom ye yield yourselves servants toobeyhis servants ye are to whom ye obeywhether of sin untodeathor of obedience unto righteousness

But God be thankedthat ye were the servants of sinbut yehave obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine which wasdelivered you.

Being then made free from sinye became the servants ofrighteousness.

I speak after the manner of men because of the infirmity ofyour fleshfor as ye have yielded your members servants touncleanness and to iniquity unto iniquityeven so now yieldyour members servants to righteousness unto holiness.

For when ye were the servants of sinye were free fromrighteousness.

What fruit had ye then in those things whereof ye are nowashamedfor the end of those things is death.

But now being made free from sinand become servants to God ye have your fruit unto holinessand the end everlastinglife.

For the wages of sin is deathbut the gift of God is eternallife through Jesus Christ our Lord.
