Romans Chapter 10
Brethrenmy heart s desire and prayer to God for Israel isthat they might be saved.
For I bear them record that they have a zeal of Godbut notaccording to knowledge.
For they being ignorant of God s righteousnessand goingabout to establish their own righteousnesshave not submittedthemselves unto the righteousness of God.
For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone that believeth.
For Moses describeth the righteousness which is of the lawThat the man which doeth those things shall live by them.
But the righteousness which is of faith speaketh on this wise Say not in thine heartWho shall ascend into heaven thatisto bring Christ down from above
OrWho shall descend into the deep that isto bring upChrist again from the dead.
But what saith itThe word is nigh theeeven in thy mouthand in thy heartthat isthe word of faithwhich we preach
That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesusandshalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from thedeadthou shalt be saved.
For with the heart man believeth unto righteousnessand withthe mouth confession is made unto salvation.
For the scripture saithWhosoever believeth on him shall notbe ashamed.
For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greekforthe same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him.
For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall besaved.
How then shall they call on him in whom they have notbelievedand how shall they believe in him of whom they havenot heardand how shall they hear without a preacher
And how shall they preachexcept they be sentas it iswrittenHow beautiful are the feet of them that preach thegospel of peaceand bring glad tidings of good things
But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Esaias saithLordwho hath believed our report
So then faith cometh by hearingand hearing by the word ofGod.
But I sayHave they not heardYes verilytheir sound wentinto all the earthand their words unto the ends of theworld.
But I sayDid not Israel knowFirst Moses saithI willprovoke you to jealousy by them that are no peopleand by afoolish nation I will anger you.
But Esaias is very boldand saithI was found of them thatsought me notI was made manifest unto them that asked notafter me.
But to Israel he saithAll day long I have stretched forth myhands unto a disobedient and gainsaying people.
