Corinthians Chapter 2
And Ibrethrenwhen I came to youcame not with excellencyof speech or of wisdomdeclaring unto you the testimony ofGod.
For I determined not to know any thing among yousave JesusChristand him crucified.
And I was with you in weaknessand in fearand in muchtrembling.
And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words ofman s wisdombut in demonstration of the Spirit and of power
That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of menbut inthe power of God.
Howbeit we speak wisdom among them that are perfectyet notthe wisdom of this worldnor of the princes of this world that come to nought
But we speak the wisdom of God in a mysteryeven the hiddenwisdomwhich God ordained before the world unto our glory
Which none of the princes of this world knewfor had theyknown itthey would not have crucified the Lord of glory.
But as it is writtenEye hath not seennor ear heard neither have entered into the heart of manthe things whichGod hath prepared for them that love him.
But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spiritfor theSpirit searcheth all thingsyeathe deep things of God.
For what man knoweth the things of a mansave the spirit ofman which is in himeven so the things of God knoweth no manbut the Spirit of God.
Now we have receivednot the spirit of the worldbut thespirit which is of Godthat we might know the things that arefreely given to us of God.
Which things also we speaknot in the words which man swisdom teachethbut which the Holy Ghost teachethcomparingspiritual things with spiritual.
But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit ofGodfor they are foolishness unto himneither can he knowthembecause they are spiritually discerned.
But he that is spiritual judgeth all thingsyet he himself isjudged of no man.
For who hath known the mind of the Lordthat he may instructhimBut we have the mind of Christ.
